A man has left the internet divided after sharing something he likes to do when flying first class.

Getting to turn left rather than right when boarding a plane is most people's dream, but with tickets in first class going for thousands of dollars, its something not that many people get to actually experience.

However, you'd imagine that those who can afford to sit in first class would display pretty good behavior while they fly in luxury, right?

Well, apparently not everyone does - as one traveler showcased in a recent social media video.

Jonny Mitchell, an online influencer, took to Instagram to share a reel of what he does as the plane is nearing its destination.

He wrote on the video in overlay text: "POV: You're flying first class and the plane is about to land," as he filmed himself packing everything that wasn't nailed down into his bag to take with him.

He began by taking the bag of toiletries and what appeared to be an eye mask, before opening a drawer and helping himself to the notebook and pen within it.

He then tipped a basket of snacks into his carry-on, before opening a flap on the desk in front of him and taking out everything within the compartment.

Some of the more controversial things that ended up in his bag was a pair of noise-canceling headphones, the entire menu complete with its leather case, and a tablet-style screen, as well as the entire contents of the mini-bar next to him.

Proving he wasn't about to leave anything 'free' behind, he even took a sprig of flowers out of its holder to take home with him, too.

Jonny captioned the post: "8k a ticket, you best believe I’m stealing everything."

People quickly flooded his comments to let him know what they thought of that behavior, writing: "Money doesn't buy class..." and: "Economy class traveller when gets chance in first class."

Others added: "Do you really take all of that when having money for first class?" and: "Did you bring the plane home as well?"

While the video riled some people up, others got the joke that the man likely wasn't really going to take all of those things off the plane with him.

They joked: "You forgot to pack the air hostess," and: "Don’t stop there. The life vest is easy to snag too", while another added: "Don’t be shy. Take the Captain with you."

Others quipped: "Can’t believe you left the wine glass behind" and: "You left the windows? How noble."

Some pointed out: "Is it really stealing if you payed 8k?" (sic), while another added: "It’s there for you. Whether you use it or not. So it’s definitely not stealing," which may be true of the snacks and toiletries, but definitely not for the headphones or screen...

Thankfully, it seems his post is meant to be satirical, but there are a good few things first-class passengers are welcome to take with them, such as the luxury washbags they are given, as well as the pajamas they are provided when they have an overnight flight.

So there you have it - as long as you use your common sense and don't take anything that's meant to remain in the plane (or ask an air steward if you're unsure), you should be able to walk away with a fair few goodies if you ever get the privilege of flying first class.
