Most of us can relate to walking away from getting our hair done, only to be left unhappy with the final results.
However, how many of us can say we've left the salon resembling a Lord Of The Rings character?
One TikToker was left devastated after believing she now looks like LOTR's Frodo Baggins the hobbit after getting bangs.
The Lord Of The Rings series took movie theaters by storm in the early 2000s, with The Return Of The King - the conclusion of the trilogy - being the first fantasy film to receive the Best Picture award at the Oscars, per Screen Rant.
The third instalment also resulted in Academy Awards for Ngila Dickson for best costume design and Peter Swords King for best make-up, with Richard Taylor credited for both, per IMDb.
That would leave us to believe that the characters looked good, right? Real pop culture icons!
Well, one woman might not agree, as she took to TikTok after getting bangs, declaring she looks like Frodo Baggins.
User @aannniee6 excitedly declared on her video that she was on her way to get the bangs but this quickly took a turn after she posed with the final product next to an image of the Hobbit, with music from the film really setting the scene.
After amassing 8.2 million views (at the time of writing), many viewers took to the comments section to point out the resemblance of the haircut being quite uncanny with the Tolkien character.
One person said: "When u gotta go get bangs at 11 and drop off the ring with your friends at 7," with another adding: "the resemblance is UNCANNY."
A third user referenced Frodo's journey in the films by stating: "I would have gone with you to the end, into the very fires of Mordor,"
And referencing a hobbit's love for food, a fourth person asked: "So can we expect you at second breakfast?"
A fifth user was on hand to offer genuine support by saying: "But on a serious note. It does look good. It frames your face nicely."
The comments are also packed with wig-related humor, referring to a popular interview between Elijah Wood and Dominic Monaghan, who featured in the film as Frodo and Merry respectively.
Whether the unfortunate TikToker is moving to The Shire is yet to be clarified.
