We've seen a lot of body transformations over the years. Beyond those who simply lose weight or make alterations to their personal style, there are some who make physical changes to their bodies to become who they want to be. Who can forget Rodrigo Alves, better known as 'The Human Ken Doll', or his Barbie counterpart.

While those who are obsessed with plastic surgery often go through dozens of procedures, there are some times when they come to regret their actions. For instance, Star Delguidice is currently lamenting the $20,000 she spent on butt implants because they are "too big".

The 28-year-old, from Birmingham, UK, apparently used to be a size zero with a "flat bum", but now she wishes she could return to those days. Delguidice first underwent surgery at 17, and has had around 200 procedures since. In total, she has spent around $320,000 on cosmetic procedures, including $33,000 on jaw and forehead contouring and $20,000 on her teeth.

She flew to Turkey to get the latest procedure, which sounded like a huge ordeal. In preparation, she was instructed to gain four stone. Then, in the seven-hour operation, fat was drained from her arms, thighs and stomach, and injected into her buttocks. After going through all of that, she isn't happy with the finished product.

As she has explained in a few interviews lately, she is now in pain whenever she sits or lies down.

Speaking on daytime show This Morning, she said:

"I probably am addicted to surgery but I am really scared now. The operation was a seven-hour operation.

"I'm not ashamed to admit I'm having therapy because I'm having post-traumatic stress through the surgery. I feel scared and stuff."

Host Eamonn Holmes asked her about the cushion she was sitting on before the interview, which she explained she had to use when she goes out to socialise. However, she still wants to get more work done in the future - this time on her face and breasts.

In another interview, which she recently had with The Sun, she said:

"It has a bit of an effect on me - mentally, and very much so physically. I haven't been able to take my lovely little dog out for a walk and that's affected me.

"I just want to live a normal life... if someone said 'would you go through this again?' I'd say 'definitely not'."

She also pointed to her childhood, in which she was raised by very strict parents, as a reason for her wanting to transform herself. “I hated my childhood and would often be told other children were prettier than me by my own family," she explained. “I’m addicted to plastic surgery and I know it’s because of the awful relationship I had with my parents growing up."

I'm not sure exactly how it can be done, but hopefully Star can sort out the pain she's going through. While she isn't going to stop having surgeries, she may be keeping the procedures restricted to other parts of her body from now on.
