A woman has revealed her incredible comeback to a man on a dating app who said that she'd "be perfect if she lost 7lbs".
Katie Lacie took to TikTok to reveal how one man had attempted to charm her on a dating app by body-shaming her... as you do.
But don't worry, she handled the situation like a pro.
Watch the unbelievable TikTok below:The man told her: "You would be perfect if you lost seven pounds. You are very pretty."
Katie replied: "What?"
He then said: "Oh I'm sorry, I hope you don't take offense to that. I'm a personal trainer."
Katie messaged back: "Oh ok, phew! I was offended until I knew you had the credentials to body-shame me."
The man then checked in to see if they were "good" and said: "Glad we're on the same page."
However, she decided to take the opportunity to give him some advice of her own.
She said: "You would be perfect if you were a different person," adding: "Don't worry, I'm a therapist. I have the credentials to recognize poor character."
Despite having to qualms about insulting Katie's weight, this clearly touched a nerve with the man, who replied: "Well, that's no way to talk to a man."
To which, she replied: "Oh I'm sorry, I just saw a boy here."
Even though the man had clearly blown any chance he had with her, he wasn't willing to let his comment about her weight go and said: "I know a way you can make it up to me and lose the weight (wink face)."
It was at this point that Katie understandably said she'd had enough and ended the conversation by writing: "Gross. Bye."
Needless to say, the TikTok did not go unnoticed, and at the time of writing it has been liked over 483K times and received thousands of comments.
Reacting to the video, one user wrote: "I just witnessed a murder."
A second added: "What an absolute TOOL."
While a third wrote: "Men get so mad when you match their energy."
So, if there's a lesson to be learned here it's this: don't give people unsolicited advice about their bodies. Period.
