You can now buy a giant inflatable Twister game that's perfect for your next BBQ
Garden games are a must-have when it comes to summer barbecues and parties. However, have you ever been to an outdoor event and seen those giant chess boards? Seriously - who's got the time to have a full-blown game of chess with 5ft-high pieces?
And don't get me started on those giant Connect-4 games! All it takes is one drunken BBQ and half the pieces go missing after Uncle Bill starts using the pieces as a frisbee.
But fear not - because we have found what could be the greatest summer game of all time. It's perfect for parties, weddings, barbecues, beach days, and more, and is based on one of the most beloved games of all time: Twister!
That's right, the popular 1960s mat-based game is back - but with a serious upgrade! This version still requires physical skill and flexibility, but instead of just 2-to-4 people cramming themselves onto a small mat on the floor, this version features an inflatable 18 oz., double-stitched vinyl 15ft x 15ft playing surface that can hold 10 players (or 1,500 lbs)!
In case you were wondering, that is a staggering 64 colored dots, as opposed to the standard 24.
The incredible inflatable activity is currently available from the American retailer Hammacher Schlemmer, and the product's official description on their website reads:
"This is the inflatable outdoor game that challenges up to 10 players to touch different colored dots on a playing surface using only their hands and feet.
"Contortions and human pretzel poses aside, no other part of the body may touch the playing surface; the last player to remain "standing" wins."
The game comes with a 24-inch diameter, 3ft-high wheel that instructs the players which hand or foot needs to go on which color, and a one-horsepower air blower that keep the playing surface inflated more than one foot off the ground throughout the duration of the game. This can be plugged into a standard AC.
You can order the product online now for just $2,000 (which may seem a little steep, but just think of the hours of fun this will provide).
