In the run-up to the world’s biggest candy orgy on October 31st, many sweet treat makers decide to get creative. This can mean anything from adding weird things to their chocolate, to going into full-blown mashup mode in a desperate bid to partner with anyone who’s paying attention. These collaborations can often end in disaster. Every once in a while, however, they can result in something magical.

According to a report by Pretty 52, legendary twin biscuit-bars Twix have made their fan favourite, Christmas-inspired Speculoos Spice flavoured variant available in the UK. Although getting your hands on one is a whole lot more complicated than nipping out to the newsagents, the fact that the flavour is almost identical to the universally adored Lotus Biscoff means that this is incredibly exciting news.

Originally only available in Germany, Twix “Spekulatius Gewürz” bars were a popular, if impossible to find pipe dream. However, the bars can now be bought in the UK through specialist shipping service GB Gifts, where customers can get hold of two for £2.49, plus an extra £1.99 in shipping costs. That might seem excessive, but given how popular the bars have been in Europe, you can understand the temptation.

For anyone who is inexplicably indifferent to the prospect of a Twix bar on top of a cinnamon-spiced biscuit, GB Gifts has a range of other exciting options for those eager for a distinctive Halloween. Also on offer are Snickers with extra caramel (£4.99), Kit Kat milk chocolate Santas (£2.49) and even legendary Cadbury Caramilk (£6.99), hailing all the way from Australia. It might seem like an expensive way to stock up for trick-or-treaters, but the selection seems second to none.
