A beauty queen from Venezuela has died at the age of 26 just months after sharing a chilling post relating to her own funeral on social media.

Ariana Viera, 26, was killed in a horrific car crash in Florida on July 13 after she reportedly fell asleep at the wheel and crashed into a truck in Lake Nona, Orlando.

According to the New York Post, while the official cause of the crash has not yet been determined, Viera's mother Vivian Ochoa believes it was down to her daughter having experienced fatigue recently.

She said, via Telemundo31: "My girl fell asleep. She was tired. They revived her, but when they were going to take her to trauma care, she stayed there."

Her death comes two months after Viera shared a post for her own funeral, as part of a trend of people making montages of themselves looking good in videos and pretending someone else is filming them, similar to how movies and documentaries often include such scenes.

In the video, which she posted in May, Viera wrote: "Recording myself for my future funeral because it’s always me who takes the videos no one takes them of me."

She had recorded herself smelling an orchid plant, looking out of a window, waking up from a nap, drinking water, and showering among the 'candid' shots.

Her followers noted the chilling timing, having been shared just a few weeks before she tragically died in the accident.

Viera was reportedly revived following the crash but suffered a heart attack and died before she could get to trauma care.

Her mother praised Viera for her kindness and selflessness in helping others, saying: "She helped too many people.

"She would stop everything to help you or listen to you. She was always there for her friends, her brothers, her mother.

"I didn’t know that God had given me an angel. I didn’t know that God had given me a little piece of heaven for a very short time," the grieving mother added.

As well as working as a model, Viera worked in real estate and also ran Full House Cleaning Service, according to her Instagram page.

She had been due to represent her home country of Venezuela at the Miss Latin America of the World 2023 competition in the Dominican Republic in October.

Viera's father lives in Peru and had reportedly applied for a humanitarian visa to be able to travel to his daughter's funeral, but tragically his request was not approved until a day after the service had taken place.

Our thoughts are with Viera's family and friends in this heartbreaking time.
