50 Cent has reignited his long-running feud with his eldest son after responding to an emotional offer from him with a savage social media post.
The rapper, whose real name is Curtis Jackson, has enjoyed enormous success in both music and television, selling more than 30 million records worldwide and starring in hit series Power.
However, his relationship with his oldest son, Marquise Jackson, has remained fractured for more than a decade.
Marquise, who was born in 1996, has previously blamed the breakdown in their relationship on the aftermath of 50 Cent's split from his mother, Shaniqua Tompkins.
"It completely went south when I was probably like 10 or 11," Marquise told Rap-Up in 2017.
"He wasn't really around enough. It kind of dwindled down as time went on and certain events happened."
He continued: "But then, as I got older, you start realising things or you start seeing certain patterns and it takes an effect on your relationship with people.
"That's what happened with me and my father. He's still alive but I can't tell you our last conversation or the last time we even had a dialogue."
The relationship appeared to deteriorate even further in 2018 after Marquise shared a photo with the son of Kenneth "Supreme" McGriff, one of 50 Cent's longtime rivals.
The rapper commented beneath the post: "If both these little n****s got hit by a bus, I wouldn't have a bad day."
Marquise later responded publicly, writing: "I have no phone number for you and you've had me blocked on social media for years so I can't DM you personally and everybody that is mutual is scared to touch the topic because they're scared of you."
The latest chapter in their public feud began when Marquise revisited the topic of child support.
In an Instagram post, he shared a photo of himself sitting beside the word "entitled," spelled out using dollar bills.
In the caption, he made an emotional offer to his father.
"Since y'all think $6,700 is sooo much money someone tell my pops I will pay him $6,700 for just 24hr of his time so we can do everything I ever wanted to do with him as a kid. Red Yellow Green whatever colour he like."
Marquise has previously argued that the $6,700 his father allegedly paid each month in child support was not enough given his wealth and profile.
Speaking during an Instagram Live with Choke No Joke, he said: "$6,700 a month in… New York City, you do the math.
"You're talking about a Forbes lister – you're talking about someone that has problems with everybody – you can't just live in any neighborhood, $81k is not a substantial amount of money. You can't just live anywhere.
"You talking about you got beef with everybody in the industry, you can't just live anywhere."
When the host suggested he could survive on that amount, Marquise disagreed.
"Choke you gotta stop comparing it, you comparing it to yourself, bro, you're comparing it to your standard of lifestyle," he said.
"You can't do that. I know what it feels like to have nothing, alright. I had to rebuild my life over with $6700 a month. $81,000 a year."
50 Cent has previously admitted that fame has come at a personal cost.
During an Instagram Live with Van Lathan, he reflected on his relationship with Marquise, saying: "I didn't think that success would cost me my firstborn, but it's the situation it is."
He also recalled advice from his grandfather.
"My grandfather used to say, 'If it rattles like a snake and slithers like a snake, is it a snake or do you need to be bit?'"
He added: "What he keeps saying is, every time you see the boy he show up with somebody you got a problem with. What does that tell you?"
After Marquise's latest post, 50 Cent appeared to respond in his trademark blunt fashion.
Rather than issuing a direct statement, the rapper uploaded a clip from Power showing his character, Kanan, killing his own son.
He accompanied the video with the caption: "No caption needed."

Curtis Jackson III - known to most of us as 50 Cent or Fiddy - is clearly not even close to nearing the end of the years-long beef he has with his son.
The New York native's oldest child, Marquise Jackson (AKA 25 Cent), has faced some criticism online after claiming that the $6,700 his father paid his mom in child support each month was not enough.
Imitating his father's famous 'Broke' Instagram photo, Marquise posted an image of his own to the photo-sharing platform, with his cash spelling out the word 'Entitled.'
"Since y'all think $6,700 is sooo much money someone tell my pops I will pay him $6,700 for just 24hr of his time so we can do everything I ever wanted to do with him as a kid [...] Red Yellow Green whatever color he like," Marquise captioned his image.
This wasn't news for hip-hop and rap fans, who've been aware of the pair's ongoing beef for years. In fact, 50 Cent even spoke about their highly-publicized feud on Instagram Live to promote his book Hustle Harder, Hustle Smarter in 2020.
"It's a sad situation. When you pray for success, you don't necessarily pray for the things that come with it. It's no such thing as success without jealousy without envy or entitlement," the father-of-two said.
He revealed that, despite having paid close to $1.5 million in child support to his son, Marquise's mom raised him to develop a sense of entitlement, saying: "His mom developed an entitlement that cannot be met, filtering that energy through his actual personal interests [...] So, while being a privileged child, he feels deprived."
The 'In Da Club' rapper also nonchalantly stated on the live that he "used to" love his son though, evidently, did not feel the same anymore.
He added: "I didn't think that success would cost me my firstborn but it's the situation it is. Like, my grandfather used to say, 'If it rattles like a snake and slithers like a snake, is it a snake or do you need to be bit?'"
Around the time of his Instagram Live, Fiddy compared his then-23-year-old son to 6ix9ine, a rainbow-haired rapper who has arguably become the most hated man in rap after cooperating with authorities to reveal his role in a violent drug-trafficking gang - the Nine Trey Gangsta Bloods. He is widely known in the rap community as a "snitch" and a "rat", two terms that he has since embraced.
"He better than Marquise though. I'll take him before I take my actual [son]," 50 Cent stated, Distractify detailed.
In response, the 47-year-old's son said: "Did he just say he would claim a rat? Aww nah, I want no part to that cheese. I don't know what y'all got going on over there. That's some other s**t. Stupid!"
Prior to their beef, 50 Cent had always spoken highly about being a father and being there for his son, whom he shares with ex-girlfriend Shaniqua Tompkins. "When my son came into my life, my priorities changed, because I wanted to have the relationship with him that I didn't have with my father," he said, per Distractify.
After separating from Tompkins, 50 Cent and his ex-partner were embroiled in a bitter dispute over child support and the division of property. Consequently, 50 Cent revealed to Philly's Morning Show with Shamara and Laiya in 2014 that his son had sadly "embraced his mom's perspective on me," effectively souring their relationship.
As for Marquise's $6,700 offer, 50 Cent is yet to publicly respond.

Curtis Jackson, better known as 50 Cent, recently left fans and followers shocked by his words, when he claimed he wouldn't care if his own son got hit by a bus. This comment was sparked by an Instagram post he had seen of his estranged son, Marquis Jackson, posing with the son of a man he'd had an intense feud with.
His 21-year-old son posed next to Kyle McGriff, the son of Kenneth McGriff, a convicted drug trafficker. He is currently serving a life sentence for unrelated murder charges, but was also allegedly involved with the infamous attempted murder of 50 Cent in 2000.
In the attack, the rapper was shot nine times - in his arm, hand, chest, hip, both legs, and his left cheek - the latter leaving his tongue permanently swollen.
After he saw the photo, he immediately commented on the photo to write: "If both these little n***** got hit by a bus, I wouldn’t have a bad day."
Many who saw the comment were appalled by his words, despite his reasons for being angry. "Marquise Jackson behaves exactly how a hurt and abandoned child would to their father," one Twitter user wrote. "50 is 100% to blame for that."
Responding to the widespread criticism of his comments, the rapper eventually defended himself, explaining that he has "zero ill will" towards them or anyone else. He wrote:
"I have zero ill will towards anyone living on this Earth. The people Shanquois [sic] son looks up to and associates with is a reflection of the negative energy he embraces towards me.
"I paid his mother $1,360,000 in support to afford him opportunities I never had. They just spent it, over the years I repeated get a job now they have to figure it out."
He then, in a strange turn, ended by promoting the latest season of Power, in which he stars.
Marquise’s mother, Shaniqua Tompkins, soon stepped in to defend her son, laying into 50 on her Instagram story, where she wrote:
"I find it humorous that a not so gangster rapper will go so hard and be so delligent [sic] at going at his child and his child’s mother, but won’t keep that same energy for n***as who put that hot lead up his ass… Alexa play “Many Men” by 50 Cent."
50 Cent came back with another reply, in which he used his oft-repeated catchphrase "get the strap":
"She is just confused, the question is how long do you think it will take her to identify with the truth. What ever I say is the truth, don’t play wit my pimpin. get the strap LOL #lecheminduroi"
The relationship between 50 Cent and Marquise has been turbulent for quite some time, with the tensions between them often reflected in their social media posts. For instance, in June this year, Marquise posted a sarcastic father's day photo on Instagram of him alone:
"[Marquise] does this kind of stuff to get a rise out of him," a source told People Magazine. "Any time 50 is having a problem with anyone on social media, his son will seek out that person and then make it a point to post it."
Hopefully, rather than this ongoing tension, the pair can resolve the issues they have with one another in the future.

The drama comes amid the release of 50 Cent’s Netflix documentary, Sean Combs: The Reckoning, which quickly climbed to the number one spot on the streaming platform.
On December 18, King Combs took to X to issue a blunt warning to his father’s longtime rival.
His post read: "On my dad, if I ever see 50 Cent, I’ll slap the f*** outta him."
Though the tweet was deleted shortly afterward, screenshots quickly circulated online, drawing immediate attention from fans and media outlets alike.
Not one to stay silent, 50 Cent responded swiftly and sharply.
He posted: "Lil bro, first, close your damn mouth when you take pictures. I been rich 3 different times, sold records, sold shows, sold liquor, sold power. You still living off Wi-Fi and legacy. Relax."
Sean Combs: The Reckoning, executive produced by 50 Cent, revisits serious allegations against Diddy.
The docuseries includes claims from former Crips member Duane “Keefe D” Davis, who alleges that Diddy offered $1 million to have Tupac Shakur and Suge Knight killed – a claim Diddy has consistently denied.

Rapper 50 Cent has issued an apology to Madonna after she called him out for mocking her recent Instagram photos.
Last month, the 63-year-old pop icon shared a series of photos on Instagram showing her posing on her bed in black lingerie. In several photos, she her nipple could be seen - which resulted in Instagram removing the original post.
Madonna went on to reshare the racy images, along with the caption: "I'm reposting photographs Instagram took down without warning or notification….. The reason they gave my management that does not handle my account was that a small portion of my nipple was exposed.
"It is still astounding to me that we live in a culture that allows every inch of a woman's body to be shown except a nipple."
The re-share has amassed over 1.1 million 'likes' on the social media platform, but one person who apparently wasn't impressed with the images is rapper 50 Cent.
The 46-year-old 'Candyshop' star - real name Curtis James Jackson III - shared a screenshot of Madonna's images to his own Instagram feed, captioning the post to his 27 million followers: "Yo this is the funniest s**! LOL. That’s Madonna under the bed trying to do like a virgin at 63. She shot out, if she don’t get her old a** up. LMFAO [sic]."
However, the post did not go unseen by Madonna, who then took to her Instagram Stories to share a photo of the two of them together in 2003, along with the message: "Here is 50 Cent pretending to be my friend. Now you have decided to talk smack about me!"
The singer continued: "I guess your new career is getting attention by trying to humiliate others on social media. The least elevated choice you could make as an artist and an adult.
"You’re just jealous you won’t look as good as me or have as much fun when you are my age! Too bad there are no sour grape emogees [sic]."
50 Cent responded by deleting his Instagram post, and sharing the following apology to Madonna on Twitter: "I must have hurt Madonna feelings, she went and dug up a old MTV photo from 03 [...] ok Im sorry i did not intend to hurt your feelings.I don’t benefit from this in anyway i said what i thought when i saw the picture because of where i had seen it before i hope you accept my apology [sic]."
However, in a bizarre twist of this story, some people were quick to notice that the image Madonna shared looked a little different to the way it did back in 2003...

The 'Candy Shop' rapper and former G-Unit member took to Instagram to slam her recent video in which she was lip-syncing to Baby Keem's song, 'Vent.'
50 Cent - whose real name is Curtis Jackson III but who is often referred to as Fiddy - posted a screenshot of a news article that claimed Madonna was using rap music for "clout." In the caption of the post, Fiddy wrote: "I told y'all grandma was on bulls***! like a virgin at 64. LOL." He then tagged his two alcohol brands - Branson Cognac XO and Le Chemin du Roi Brut Champagne.

Though, sadly, 50 Cent is not alone in his confusion at Madonna's antics. In fact, she's continuing to cause controversy as she regularly uploads videos sporting raunchy lingerie or dancing provocatively.
Many of her fans appear perplexed at her behavior, as one of her fans pointed out on Instagram: "I think madonna is very frustrated because she is not the artist she used to be. She is angry and frustrated because she can't deal with her getting older. She doesn't embrace her age. She forgets that she is only making fun of herself and portraying herself as a frustrated old woman. If she embraced her age, she could flutter through life fresh and fruity and ageless."
One user even reminisced on the Madonna of the 90s and 00s, saying: "I've been looking at the Erotica interviews as well as the late 90s / early 00s era interviews on YouTube. Both those eras saw Madonna speak with so much charisma, power, knowledge, and spirituality. I've learnt so much from Madonna - the Artist provocateur from the early 90s whose Erotica album was lyrically, culturally and sonically ahead of the time. My fav."
They continued: "And I've learnt so much from Madonna - the late 90s Kabbalist, yogi and philosopher whose spiritual awakening has inspired me to think of my own spirituality. But now... This?
