50 Cent does interview with ABC to send a message that Diddy can see

50 Cent, also known as Curtis Jackson, is no stranger to stirring the pot, especially when it comes to his long-running feud with music mogul Sean "Diddy" Combs.

The latest controversy involves Jackson’s role as executive producer of the explosive Netflix docuseries Sean Combs: The Reckoning, which has brought their rivalry back into the spotlight.

As tensions rise, 50 Cent has responded to claims that he orchestrated an interview on ABC about Diddy just to ensure the music mogul would be able to watch it from prison.

Diddy’s Legal Troubles and the Netflix Docuseries

The documentary takes a hard look at the controversial life of the 56-year-old hip-hop mogul, who was recently convicted on charges of 'transportation to engage in prostitution' in relation to a sex trafficking trial.

As part of his sentencing, Diddy was handed a four-year-and-two-month prison term and slapped with a hefty $500,000 fine.

The docuseries delves deep into allegations surrounding Diddy, including explosive claims made by former Crips member Duane 'Keefe D' Davis.

Davis alleges that Combs offered $1 million to gang members to kill Tupac Shakur and his associate, Suge Knight.

The series also includes previously unreleased footage that connects Diddy to the circumstances surrounding the 1997 murder of The Notorious B.I.G., raising questions about his potential involvement.

Additionally, accusations of sexual abuse and manipulation at parties, involving both men and women, are explored.

Though Combs was acquitted of racketeering and sex trafficking charges in a New York trial in July, the release of this documentary has reignited long-standing tensions with 50 Cent.

A Long-Standing Rivalry Between 50 Cent and Diddy

The beef between 50 Cent and Diddy dates back nearly two decades.

It all began in 2006 when 50 Cent released the diss track 'The Bomb,' accusing Diddy of knowing who was behind the murder of Biggie Smalls. Over the years, their rivalry grew from a personal feud to a clash over business dealings and artist contracts.

However, with the release of The Reckoning, it seems that their animosity has reached a new boiling point.

The recent reports suggesting that 50 Cent’s interview on ABC was strategically timed to ensure Diddy could watch it from behind bars only added fuel to the fire.

50 Cent’s Response to the Claims

In response to these allegations, 50 Cent took to social media on December 7 to share his thoughts.

Alongside a screenshot of the ABC interview, he posted a caption that simply read: “I thought about it - what’s wrong with that?”

This was his way of addressing the circulating claims that the timing of the interview was meant for Diddy’s benefit while in prison.

50 Cent has been open about his personal feelings toward Diddy and has made it clear that his issues with the music mogul run deeper than simple "beef."

In an interview with GQ, 50 explained that he doesn’t view their conflict as one based solely on animosity, but rather on exposing things he believes Diddy has gotten away with over the years.

“There were blurbs that went out within the culture, like me saying [Puff] wanted to take me shopping,” 50 explained.

“They looked at that as if it was some sort of beef, and it wasn’t, it was just me saying, I felt like that was a test of [Diddy] trying to see if I’m a heterosexual man or some s**t. It felt weird. And when you hear and see things now, it’s a little clearer.”

He continued: “Technically, he’s the only man in jail for hiring male prostitutes to travel across state lines. So I think some of the weird st that I was feeling is [evidenced] in how that happens later.

"But that’s not beef - you’re not doing nothing to each other at all. You see what I’m saying? I still hired [Puff’s sons] Christian and Justin to work on my scripted projects, put them in Power and st like that, because my issue with him is not a gripe that would allow you to have problems with the kids.”
