The Burger King employee who went viral two years ago has revealed how he's spent the money that was raised for him in a GoFundMe fundraiser.

Kevin Ford found fame after a video of him being given a goody bag for his service at the iconic fast food giant blew up on social media.

Despite working for BK for an incredible 27 years - without taking a sick day - Ford's reward left a lot to be desired.

The clip showed him opening up his gift, which included a Starbucks reusable tumbler, a bag of Reese's candy, pens, and two rolls of Lifesavers amongst a whole bunch of other random items.

While Ford himself seemed pretty grateful for the gift, social media users emphasized the clear lack of appreciation from his employers, especially for such a massive milestone.

Instead, they all banded together to donate money to the then-54-year-old after his daughter started a GoFundMe page and took his fame to global levels.

"Hi, My name is Seryna. The man in that video is my father," she wrote in the description. "He has worked at his job for 27 years and yes, he has never missed a day of work. He originally began working at this job as a single father when he gained custody of me and my older sister 27 years ago."

She continued: "Then as our family grew and he remarried, he continued to work there because of the amazing health insurance that was provided through this employer because it was unionized. This got all four of his daughters through high school and college with full healthcare coverage.

"My dad continues to work there, because though he does look young, he is coming up on retirement age and leaving would cost him his retirement. In no way are we asking for money or is he expecting any money but if anyone feels like blessing him he would love to visit his grandchildren," she added.

Since then, the fundraiser has managed to secure over $460,000 surpassing his original goal of $200.

So what has Ford gone on to do with all that money?

Firstly, he bought a small home for himself and now he's embarking on a new career -- purchasing a new food truck.

As per TMZ, the Burger King employee and his daughter - who was trained at the French culinary school Le Cordon Bleu - will serve the community from a local spot near a Home Depot, serving up hamburgers and hot dogs.

He also plans on serving Filipino dishes in homage to his Filipina fiancée.

Ford allegedly bought the truck, which is named K27Y ("Kevin 27 Years"), for $20,000 from China and is hoping to begin serving some food items from October.

He still also plans on retiring from Burger King in 2025.

What a wholesome outcome to a wholesome story.
