Chilling 911 call reveals possible cause of death for Tommy Lee Jones' daughter, 34, found dead in hotel room
Tommy Lee Jones’s daughter Victoria, 34, was found dead on New Year’s Day at the Fairmont Hotel in San Francisco after a disturbing 911 call suggested she may have suffered a fatal overdose.
Emergency services were dispatched after a guest thought she might be drunk and alerted hotel staff, who found her unresponsive on the 14th floor hallway. First responders attempted CPR but could not revive her, and she was pronounced dead at the scene.
Per the Daily Mail, the 911 call described the situation as “code 3 for the overdose, color change,” meaning an emergency requiring immediate action with lights and sirens. Despite the mention of a possible overdose, no drug paraphernalia was found near her body.
Police have not confirmed a cause of death and an autopsy will be conducted to determine how she died.
What the 911 call revealed
The call to emergency services was made just before 3am on January 1. The dispatch came from SF Fire and EMS and was obtained by the Daily Mail.
First responders were unable to save Victoria, and investigators have said there were no signs of foul play or trauma to her body.
Investigation details from police
A spokesperson for the San Francisco Police Department said, “On 1/1/26 at approximately 3:14 a.m., San Francisco Police officers responded to a hotel located on the 900 block of Mason street regarding a report of a deceased person. At the scene, officers met with medics, who declared the adult female deceased.
"The Medical Examiner arrived on scene and conducted an investigation. Anyone with information is asked to contact the SFPD at 415-575-4444 or Text a Tip to TIP411 and begin the message with SFPD.”
It remains unclear whether Victoria was a guest at the hotel or how she came to be on that floor. Staff began CPR as soon as they realized she was unresponsive and immediately called for an ambulance, according to sources.
Her life and family background
Victoria was the daughter of Tommy Lee Jones and his second wife Kimberlea Cloughley, whom he was married to from 1981 to 1996. She began acting as a child and made her movie debut in her father’s film Men in Black II in 2002. Her on-screen roles included a 2005 episode of One Tree Hill and a part in The Three Burials of Melquiades Estrada, directed by her father.
Although she had not acted on screen since her role as a cheerleader on One Tree Hill, she appeared at red carpet events as an adult, including the 2017 premiere of Just Getting Started and the Tokyo International Film Festival that same year. Victoria is survived by her father, her mother Kimberlea Cloughley, and her brother Austin.
