As previously reported, the Tesla CEO, 53, made these controversial remarks regarding his daughter Vivian Jenna Wilson during an interview with psychologist and conservative commentator Dr. Jordan Peterson earlier this week.

In the interview, Musk, who deadnamed and misgendered his 20-year-old trans daughter, described gender-affirming care procedures as "child mutilation and sterilization."

He claimed he was "tricked" into consenting to these procedures for Vivian during the pandemic.

"I was essentially tricked into signing documents for one of my children," Musk stated in the Daily Wire interview.

He further expressed his regret, saying: "This was really before I had any understanding of what was going on, and we had COVID going on, so there was a lot of confusion, and I was told Vivian might commit suicide."

Musk continued to misgender Vivian, stating: "I lost my child, essentially. They call it 'deadnaming' for a reason.

"The reason they call it 'deadnaming' is because your child is dead. Vivian is dead — killed by the woke-mind virus. I vowed to destroy the woke mind virus after that, and we’re making some progress."

In a subsequent tweet, Musk suggested that Vivian "was born gay and slightly autistic, two attributes that contribute to gender dysphoria," adding that she used to pick out "fabulous" jackets for him.

Vivian has since taken to Threads to respond, stating: "This is entirely fake. Like, literally none of this ever happened. Ever. I don’t even know where he got this from."

After debunking the things that Musk claimed, she concluded her post by criticizing her father's involvement in her life: "This entire thing is completely made up and there’s a reason for this.

"He doesn’t know what I was like as a child because he quite simply wasn’t there, and in the little time that he was I was relentlessly harassed for my femininity and queerness.

"Obviously he can’t say that, so I’ve been reduced to a happy little stereotype f*g-ing along to use at his discretion. I think that says a lot about how he views queer people and children in general."

Grimes, who shares three children with Musk, has now voiced her support for Vivian. In a tweet posted earlier today, July 26, Grimes said: "I love and am forever endlessly proud of Vivian."

In response to a Twitter user's comment that Vivian was "created in God's image and is due respect always," Grimes replied: "God gave us hands to build cathedrals, rockets to the moon. It's clearly divine to make use of God's greatest gift to humanity, which is creativity."

Another user argued that it is not "divine to make use of God's greatest gift to humanity" when altering the "perfect design of our bodies," claiming that doing so would "ultimately destroy us."

Grimes responded firmly, stating: "I am not Christian but I respect ur Christian God and have Christian friends and sometimes join them for their holidays or heed their teachings. But I do not hold this world view, and I too enjoy changing my body with tattoos and stuff.

"But if we're made in God's image, and he gave us the capacity to change it, beautify it, make it unique, that is God's image too. For me God is the universe, not just infinite, but infinite possibility."
