A little under a year ago, Kanye West and Kim Kardashian welcomed their third child, Chicago, who was delivered by a surrogate.
"Kanye and I are happy to announce the arrival of our healthy, beautiful baby girl," Kim wrote on January 15th, 2018. "We are incredibly grateful to our surrogate who made our dreams come true with the greatest gift one could give and to our wonderful doctors and nurses for their special care. North and Saint are especially thrilled to welcome their baby sister."
Now, Kanye has appeared to confirm rumours that he and his wife are expecting their fourth child - also via surrogate.

Whispers about baby number four were reported by Entertainment Weekly after multiple sources claimed the couple were expecting a baby in "very early May". Now, fans believe that Ye confirmed another baby was on the way after photographers wished him congratulations, and he said, "Thanks, bro."
Back in August, however, Kim K denied talk that she and Kanye were planning on having another child "as soon as possible".
"None of that was true," she said of the rumours. "I've been really open about it and talked about it on our show. We start filming season 16 next week, so if I think about it more and it's gonna happen, you'll definitely see it on the show. But as of now, no. I gotta live with three for a second. If it were up to my husband we'd have like seven. Maybe four is all I can handle. I don't know, maybe three is all I can handle."

Kim has spoken out before on her reasons for not giving birth to Chicago herself, and her decision still stands with baby number four.
During her first pregnancy with North, she suffered from preeclampsia - a condition which gives the expectant mother high blood pressure and severe headaches. She also struggled with placenta accreta - a condition in which the placenta grows too deeply into the mother’s uterus, becoming inseparable from the uterine wall. After birth, when the placenta is supposed to be expelled from the uterus, it fails to detach - something which can be hugely scary for the mother.

"Having a gestational carrier is definitely different, but anyone who says or thinks it’s the easy way out is completely wrong," Kim said in the past.
"People assume it’s better because you don’t have to deal with the physical changes, pain or complications with delivery, but for me it was so hard to not carry my own child, especially after I carried North and Saint."
She also expressed her gratitude to the surrogate that carried her third child.
"Our gestational carrier gave us the greatest gift one could give. The connection with our baby came instantly and it’s as if she was with us the whole time. Having a gestational carrier was so special for us and she made our dreams of expanding our family come true. We are so excited to finally welcome home our baby girl."
Kim and Kanye will not be using the same surrogate as they did with Chi, however, as she has just had a baby of her own.
