Tallulah Willis is choosing love, memories, and a little transparency when it comes to sharing moments with her dad, Bruce Willis.

The 31-year-old took to Instagram this week to share sweet photos from a family hangout that showed her cuddled up next to her famous father, who’s been battling frontotemporal dementia.

One photo shows Tallulah sitting on the floor, gently holding Bruce’s hand. Another captures her hugging him with a soft smile. She simply captioned the post: “Sunday funday at Grams! Grateful [sic]."

While many fans flooded the comments with gratitude and support, not everyone agreed with her decision to post the photos. One commenter wrote: “I don’t think you should expose your dad to the public! He is vulnerable! And some things should be kept private! You don’t have his permission to post it!”

Tallulah didn’t ignore the critique, but she also didn’t back down. “Hi. I hear that,” she replied. “As a family we use our discretion when posting. Today was a great day filled with smiles. I made the judgment call to show that to the world, because I know what he means to everyone.”

The comment section quickly became a lovefest, with other followers stepping in to support her.

“Thank you, beautiful girl,” one person wrote. “It’s really generous to let us see these moments, because you know how much we love him, too.”

Another added: “As a dad I’m telling you, the hug you gave him was priceless [sic].”

A third user chimed in: “You are sharing and showing your love for your father regardless of his diagnosis. Your family has brought a greater awareness, education, and spotlight on this difficult diagnosis.”

Bruce Willis, now 70, was diagnosed with frontotemporal dementia in 2023 after retiring from acting in 2022 due to aphasia. Since then, the Willis-Moore-Heming blended family has stayed close; posting holiday updates, birthdays, and moments like this one that are both intimate and inspiring to fans following along.

Tallulah, Bruce’s youngest daughter with Demi Moore, has been especially vocal about her emotions and her evolving relationship with her dad.

Back in September, she posted another carousel of throwbacks and new photos with the caption: “Hey I love this guy so much… feeling feelings is tough stuff, but I’m so grateful to let them flow through me now instead of disconnecting from it!”

She’s also opened up about how meaningful their visits are, telling E! News in 2023 (via Page Six): “Our visits have so much love and I feel that overarches anything for me. I know he knows how much I love him. I know how much he loves me, I know how much he loves all of us.”

And that love? It’s exactly what her followers saw in those Sunday photos.
