A former producer working with Fox News has spoken out about how Tucker Carlson made her life a "living hell." By now, we've likely all heard the news that Carlson - who has hosted Fox News Tonight since 2016 - <a href="https://vt.co/news/fox-news-tonight-loses-over-700000-viewers-after-tucker-carlsons-exit">was fired with immediate effect on Monday this week (April 24).</a> The network made a bombshell announcement that it had "agreed to part ways" with its most-watched primetime host with immediate effect. "We thank him for his service to the network as a host and prior to that as a contributor," the company said in a short statement obtained by <a href="https://www.businessinsider.com/tucker-carlson-out-at-fox-news-2023-4?r=US&IR=T">Business Insider</a>. "Mr. Carlson's last program was Friday, April 21st. Credit: Aleksandr Dyskin / Alamy]] Although the network’s statement suggested the 53-year-old's departure was reciprocal, the host didn't make any reference to his impending exit during the final moments of Friday’s broadcast of Tucker Carlson Tonight - which is now understood to have been his last. During the final segment on his show, Carlson ate pizza with Tyler Morrell - <a href="https://vt.co/news/pizza-delivery-man-ends-high-speed-chase-by-tripping-suspect-fleeing-from-police">a pizza delivery driver from Pennsylvania who assisted in the arrest of a suspect evading law enforcement.</a> The host's final sign-off was upbeat and positive as he told viewers: "What a great way to the end the week," adding: "That's it for us for the week, we'll be back. We'll be back on Monday - in the meantime have the best weekend with the ones you love. See you then." Now, Abby Grossberg, a former Fox News producer who is suing the network, said on Tuesday (April 25) that Carlson and his executive producer were responsible for making her life a "living hell" when she worked for them. She was fired by Fox shortly after filing a pair of lawsuits against the network earlier this year, and said recently that news of Carlson's exit didn't necessarily come as a shock to her. "There were feelings first of 'Yes!' and then also the reality that you don't want anything bad to happen to anybody," Grossberg told MSNBC. "But at the same time, Tucker and his executive producer, Justin Wells, who was also fired, really were responsible for breaking me and making my life a living hell. So there is a feeling of justice, but it's only partial."
