A mom has hit back at the haters after she was slammed for letting her young daughters wear long acrylic nails.

YouTuber and professional nail tech, Asia, known better by her YouTube handle Just AsiaJJ, has been receiving backlash online since it was revealed that she lets her four and five-year-old daughters have long fake nails.

The Ohio native uses her platform to show off glamorous nail designs, often using her young daughters as hand models for her unique creations.

However, this has angered some of her followers who have recently called her out under a video titled "Am I Bad Mom??? Giving My 4-Year-Old Daughter Extra Long Acrylic Nails."

While a lot of people confirmed that she is not in fact a "bad mom", they did have a few words to say about putting such long nails on young children.

"You aren’t a bad mom it’s just that her nails are small and that can be a little bit unhealthy," wrote this user before adding: "Oh and I LOVE THEM."

Another also chimed in saying: "You are definitely not a bad mom girl, but in my opinion this is a little extreme for a 4 year old but who am i to judge your parenting. You do you girl."

"Your [sic] not a bad mom she is to [sic] young to get nails like that," a third said.

However, others weren't as forgiving.

"The moment you have to ask yourself if it's good or bad you already have your answer..." this user wrote to which Asia hit back with "Whatever you say darling" along with laughing emojis.

Another YouTube user added: "I don't know how a mother can do that to her daughter's so delicate nails."

After the backlash, the nail tech took it upon herself to reply to some of the comments, defending her actions and giving some of the haters a little insight into how long the nails stay on for.

After one viewer wrote "This is so cute but horrible at the same time if baby accidentally hits something wrong on her nail that’s gonna be so painful for her and her little fingers it would lift up so easily. No hate!! I'm just being protective even tho [I know] she’s the mom just saying! But it’s so adorable," the mom replied back with: "Thank you baby. I appreciate it but it’s a pop off system meaning the nails doesn’t stay on past 10 mins therefore there’s no painful hitting it on anything kinda of thing."

Under a different video, another user commented: "Noooo that's bad, she’s too young for that, I would never let my daughters wear makeup until she’s 17, five is too young, kids can't do that."

Asia replied: "I agree five is too young for makeup so I haven’t put it on her yet. Just excited to do so."

Other users also jumped to her defence with one writing: "Wow these haters are something else!! Reporting a video of her doing her daughter's nails with no nail prep, a peel of base coat (which mind you doesn't let the chemicals touch the natural nail), nor does the glue stick to her nails, and is bonding time with her kids!?? What a new low. I just don't understand Karen's man.

"Anyway, you're a great mother. Don't let these haters ruin your bonding time with your kids. There's nothing wrong with your process of application. They're safe."
