Footage has revealed the moment a woman ran over her cheating husband and mistress after using a tracking app to find out where they were.

Now, I'm sure we can all agree that cheating is one of the most painful betrayals ever.

Whether you're just casually dating for a few weeks or you've been in a decade-long marriage, finding out that your partner has been unfaithful is like having a knife in the gut.

While most people choose one of two options - either they break up or try and work through it - one woman from Australia took a slightly different route after she found out her man was cheating on her.

Christie-Lee Kennedy decided to take matters into her own hands after she caught her husband, David Larkin, and his side-chick Zowie Noring together.

The footage, which was released two years after the incident initially occurred, was obtained by 9 News and showed Kennedy ramming her white BMW SUV into her husband as well as Noring, knocking them both to the floor.

According to the report, Kennedy then got out of her vehicle and started attacking her husband's mistress, kicking her in the head and body before speeding away.

Noring can be seen hobbling back to her own vehicle before driving away from the scene, leaving her lover writhing in pain on the ground.

So much for sticking together, huh?

Recalling the incident with 9 News, a neighbor who goes by the title "Scummy" said that he "heard a thud" outside his home.

"I heard the thud from inside and we had the TV cranked up and you could hear 'bang'," Scummy said. "I picked up my phone, called the ambos [ambulance] and my boy chased that girl down the road."

The moment Kennedy ran over her husband and his lover:

Despite the surveillance footage being made public very recently, it was used as evidence during the trial that had all of Australia hooked.

As per a report by TooFab, the court heard how Kennedy "used a Find My Phone app to track down her cheating spouse before the attack after he reportedly told her was picking up their kids from daycare."

However, during the trial, Kennedy said she never intended to hit the victims with her car, instead claiming that she just hit the brakes a little too late.

By some miracle, the jury accepted Kennedy's explanation and found her not guilty on two counts of "malicious acts with intent to disable" so she will not be facing any jail time for her actions.

"I think it would be fair to conclude that you would be quite shocked about what you saw there despite what suspicions you had prior," Judge Smith, who was overseeing the case, said.

"You're obviously an excellent employee and a very good mother and it's a real shame you committed this offense but I do form a firm view that this offending is out of character and it's unlikely you'll re-offend with anything like this," the judge continued.

Kennedy was then ordered to pay $5000 Australian dollars to each victim; she was given two weeks to pay each party or face a potential month in jail. She was also suspended from driving for nine months.

The plot twist is that Kennedy's ex-husband and his mistress are now officially together even after she left him writhing on the floor after being hit by a car. And also the fact that he cheated on his ex to be with her, but hey, love makes us all do silly things.

Good luck to 'em.
