The British royal family came out in full force for this year’s Victory in Europe (VE) Day celebrations, which is a moving tribute to the armed forces.
King Charles and Queen Camilla led the commemorations at the Victoria Monument outside Buckingham Palace.
Princess Anne arrived by car, along with Prince Edward and his wife Sophie, while Prince William and Princess Kate brought their children, George, Charlotte, and Louis, to mark the occasion.
Among the pageantry and tradition, it was Prince Louis who captured hearts once again with his cheeky charm.
In a report shared by The Sun, the seven-year-old showed off some impromptu shoulder-shaking dance moves and was even spotted brushing raindrops off his dad’s shoulder in an affectionate gesture.

But it was what Louis said next that had people talking. According to professional lip reader Nicola Hickling, Prince William tried to prepare his son for the wet weather by saying: “Look at this, I think it’s going to be quite wet today.”
Louis, in typical fashion, responded with a hilarious question: “Wasn’t this supposed to be fun?” The 42-year-old's reply was simple and heartfelt: “It is son.” He went on to explain the parade to his son, saying, “They will come along here, and then go towards there, and then we will make our way back.”
Adding a bit of fatherly encouragement, he told Louis: “It’s not going to be long and I want you to be taking an interest... You will never forget this.”
Meanwhile, Prince George, 11, chimed in during the family moment, saying: “I’ve got something in my eye.”

Princess Catherine was also caught on camera sharing a tender moment with 10-year-old Princess Charlotte. “Doesn’t Papa look smart today?” she told her daughter.
Later, while showing her children some photos, the 43-year-old pointed to a veteran’s uniform and said: “Look at his uniform!” before turning to the veteran and revealing: “Charlotte is very interested in the uniforms.” The veteran responded warmly: “That’s wonderful to know.”
Elsewhere, Queen Camilla was heard chatting to a veteran, saying: “Ooh, it’s much warmer inside, it’s cold, are you comfortable?” To which he politely replied: “Yes, I am, thank you so much.”
Another well-wisher greeted Princess Kate with a heartfelt comment: “Lovely to see you with all your family.”
During the fly-past, King Charles added his own excitement to the occasion, exclaiming: “Oh look! Oh look. Look at those flags.”
Prince William and George enjoyed a bonding moment as they watched the aircraft overhead.
“Do you know what it is?” the Prince of Wales asked. “No, I think it’s the… typhoon, but it has four engines,” George guessed.
William pointed out another plane, prompting Louis to enthusiastically shout: “That’s my favourite.”
The future king then told his oldest son: “It has a V8,” to which the young prince responded: “The noise is very loud.”
