The former president is projected to have won in two swing states - Georgia and North Carolina, as reported by BBC News.

Swing states are at the heart of the election, as both major political parties are competing for votes. With its 19 electoral votes, Pennsylvania is the biggest prize among the battleground states and a crucial piece of both campaigns’ path to victory.

As of this writing, it's predicted that Trump will prevail in Pennsylvania, as well as four other states: Arizona, Michigan, Minnesota, and Wisconsin.

However, nothing has been announced yet.

Trump is expected to address supporters from Palm Beach, where congressional Republican leaders and other GOP figures are joining him at a watch party.

He has received the most votes in Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Idaho, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Ohio, Oklahoma, Mississippi, Missouri, Montana, North Dakota, South Dakota, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, West Virginia and Wyoming, according to preliminary results.

Meanwhile, Harris is projected to win California, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, Oregon, Rhode Island, Vermont, Virginia, and Washington state as well as Washington DC.

The projected win of Pennsylvania sees Trump move up to 265 out of 270 electoral votes needed for the White House.
