As widely reported, on July 13, the 78-year-old former president was the victim of an attempted assassination as he spoke to a crowd at the Butler Farm Show grounds in Pennsylvania.
Roughly 10 minutes into his address, shots could be heard ringing out and Trump was struck by a bullet which grazed his right ear.
Amid the chaos, Secret Service agents were able to bundle Trump to the ground, before the assailant was quickly shot dead by authorities.
As well as Trump being struck in the ear, a male rally-goer was killed as a result of the shooting, with a further two men left critically injured.

The shooter, identified as Thomas Matthew Crooks, was fatally shot moments after as he lay on a rooftop that was located approximately 130 yards from the Butler Farm Show grounds.
Newly released footage shows local police and a Secret Service agent standing over the body of Crooks.
The video, made public by Iowa Senator Chuck Grassley, captures the aftermath of the incident where Crooks opened fire at a Pennsylvania rally earlier this month.
The bodycam footage reveals Crooks' lifeless body on a rooftop, where blood trails mark the spot where he wounded Trump and killed a firefighter.

A Secret Service agent is seen confirming to a Beaver County Emergency Service Unit officer that Crooks had been identified as a suspicious person before the attack.
"So this is the guy," the agent says.
"This is him," the emergency services officer replies.
The officer explains that a police sniper had previously taken photos of Crooks, including images of him on a bicycle.
"That's the sniper that sent the original picture and saw him come from the bike, set the book bag down, and then lost sight of him," the officer tells the Secret Service agent.

The footage also shows the two officials scrolling through photos of Crooks on an iPhone.
Sources previously informed The New York Post that the Secret Service had been alerted about Crooks and labeled him a "threat" ten minutes before the rally began.
However, despite the warning, Trump was allowed to take the stage.
Further reports indicated that authorities had been warned about a "character of suspicion" on the grounds over an hour before the shooting, though he was not described as being armed at the time.
