Husband reveals twisted details after hidden camera allegedly caught wife in disturbing sex act with family dog
A husband has revealed disturbing details after a hidden camera allegedly caught his wife in a disgusting sex act with the family dog.
Erik Nummerdor, from Florida, told investigators he had installed two cameras inside the family home after money apparently began disappearing from a coin container.
But while looking at the footage from a camera in his bedroom, Erik claimed he discovered a recording involving his estranged wife, Malia Nummerdor, 38, and their dog, Ranger.
"He stated the bedroom camera was visible, displayed a blinking red light, and was known to household members," a detective wrote in the affidavit. "The camera recorded continuously in rolling intervals, overwriting older footage."
Erik allegedly found the footage while looking through the recordings and later provided investigators with screenshots.
"I reviewed the images and observed an adult female, identified by Erik as Malia, nude from the waist down, positioned with the dog in a manner consistent with sexual activity," the detective wrote.
He also consented to giving the Charlotte County Sheriff's Office full access to a laptop containing the surveillance files.
Husband shared allegations on Facebook
Days earlier, on September 11, Erik had publicly alleged on Facebook that Malia engaged in sexual activity with the family dog.
A detective looked at the posts and comments, which reportedly included claims that he had photographic and video evidence of the alleged incident.
The man told investigators that Malia denied engaging in sexual conduct and claimed the images did not show a dog.
He maintained that the footage showed her and Ranger.
Malia's response to police after being questioned
Police interviewed Malia on Tuesday (September 15) about the security video.
Per the affidavit, she appeared impaired and acknowledged being under the influence of drugs and/or alcohol.
One account of the police report states that she reportedly admitted that she was the person shown in the footage with the dog, but denied that anything untoward had happened.
According to officials, Malia "could not provide a consistent explanation for what was seen on the camera".
She also alleged that Erik installed the cameras without her knowledge and accessed her social media accounts to post images and videos.
She claimed the recordings were made in 2024 and that Erik had previously threatened her with the videos.
Calls to a number listed for Erik were not immediately returned.
The sheriff responds to the arrest
Malia, who reportedly shares two sons with Erik, was arrested in Port Charlotte on a charge of sexual activity involving animals, a second-degree felony under Florida law.
She remains at the Charlotte County Jail with bond set at $35,000.
Charlotte County Sheriff Bill Prummell condemned the alleged conduct and addressed Malia appearing to smile in her mugshot.
"There are only a few times in my career that I have been at a loss for words. This is one of those times. I simply cannot comprehend this behavior," he said. "No animal should ever be subjected to this kind of conduct, and you can be sure that we will take action when we learn about it here in Charlotte County.
"And then to smile in the mugshot? I don’t know what there is to smile about when you’ve been arrested for something as disgusting as this," he added.
