Lindsay Clancy's ex-husband makes heartbreaking admission about their three dead children in first interview

The former husband of Lindsay Clancy has made a heartbreaking admission about their three children in his first on-camera interview since their tragic murders.
Patrick Clancy, 38, is set to open up about the tragic day he was sent out to run errands as his three children - Cora, five; Dawson, three; and eight-month-old Callan - were allegedly killed by their mother, before she attempted to take her own life.
Though the three children all died from their injuries, Lindsay, now 36, survived falling from a 20-foot window and now requires the use of a wheelchair.
A trial to decide if she was guilty of their murder recently ended in a mistrial after the jury was unable to agree on a verdict.
Though Lindsay has not disputed that she killed her children, the defense had argued that she was not responsible for her actions as she was suffering with postpartum psychosis and had been heavily medicated for her mental health at the time of the incident.
Now, Patrick has sat down with 60 Minutes for his first interview since the trial, making the heartbreaking admission that he still speaks to his three deceased children "all the time".
He told CBS correspondent Ross Douthat: "I talk to them," and when asked what he says to them, Patrick responded: "'Help me.' All the time."
Former delivery nurse Lindsay is accused of strangling the three children in the basement of their Duxbury, Mass. home in January 2023.
The jury deliberated for over 38 hours across seven days before notifying Plymouth Judge William Sullivan they were unable to reach a verdict.
Patrick, who has since remarried and now lives in New York, also became the focus of internet sleuths conspiracy theories over the event of that fateful night during the trial.
His lawyer, Howard Cooper, told Boston 25 News: "Over the past months, Patrick Clancy and his family have been subjected to a relentless, escalating and destructive defamation campaign.
"This campaign of misinformation has been launched and promoted by minor celebrities, so-called influencers and outright conspiracy theorists who appear intent on boosting their own social media profiles and potential profit by publishing what they know to be outright falsehoods that Patrick was somehow involved in the death of his young children and other vile claims."
Cooper added that they have not ruled out the possibility of pursuing legal action against those responsible for fueling the false narratives that Patrick was somehow involved in the deaths of his children.
Patrick had spoken to the court during the trial, praising Lindsay as a loving mother to their children, who would "make up songs" with them and cook them special meals.
