Florida man accused of having sex with his mum 100 times avoids jail after bizarre admission

A son who confessed to sleeping with his actual mother has dodged jail time for the crime in Florida.
Shane Clemens, 22, told police that he had been in a sexual relationship with his mother for years, while hiding it from his stepfather, who lived with them.
He told the Daily Mail they had been estranged and only reconnected when he moved in with them at 18.
Shane's mom, Christina Clemens, 46, openly admitted to having sex with her son on multiple occasions, telling police they did the deed 'only about 100 times'.
She revealed that they kept the arrangement secret from her longtime husband, with authorities finding out about the incestuous relationship after Christina called the police and accused her son of assault.
After he was arrested for domestic violence, Shane made the admission to cops.
But now, he has steered clear of any possible jail time after making one claim.
Shane Clemens said he got 'tired' of the hook-ups
The 22-year-old will not face criminal charges despite admitting to the incestuous acts, according to court documents.
He told police that he was 'tired of having sexual intercourse with his mother' before giving authorities a graphic breakdown of their twisted relationship, as per an arrest affidavit.
Christina confessed in a recorded interview that she had 'engaged in penile/vaginal penetration' with her son 'on at least one hundred separate occasions.'
It was noted that the encounters took place when the house was empty, or when everyone was asleep.
But while both were arrested, prosecutors have pulled charges against the son, as reported by The Smoking Gun.
Now, jail records list the disposition of Shane's case as 'no billed', meaning that the state has officially decided to halt pursuing criminal charges against him.
In fact, he was released from the Polk County jail on September 17.
On the other hand, his mom remains behind bars on a $5,000 bond, with a court appearance set for Tuesday (October 6).
Christina has been charged with third-degree felony incest, as prosecutors alleged that she 'did unlawfully have sexual intercourse' from September 2023 to August 2026.
If she is found guilty, she could face up to five years in prison, in addition to hefty fines and a placement on Florida's sex offender registry.
Cameras captured some encounters
According to local news station CBS12, Polk County Sheriff Grady Judd said that stepfather Terry told officers that he thought it was suspicious that Christina and Shane would go into the primary bedroom together and lock the door.
He also confessed that they must have been careful about not getting caught by having sex when no one else was home.
Shane confessed that cameras inside the living room and bedroom had even recorded some of their steamy encounters.
In phone calls recovered by authorities, Christina allegedly asked Shane if he wanted to 'stop doing what we do.'
She allegedly told her son to convince Terry that the allegations weren't true, saying: "You need to tell Terry that you're a liar and you only said that because you were mad."
While she was waiting for Shane to be released from custody, she also allegedly said in a voice note: “Before you get in my car, when I pick you up, I want that phone in my hand, because I will delete all evidence in that phone.”
