With many countries currently practising self-isolation, social distancing, or in some form of lockdown, we're having to alter our habits in many areas of life.

This, of course, includes in the workplace. With many of us currently working from home, day-to-day working routines have changed somewhat. Meetings, for instance, clearly cannot take place in the traditional manner at the moment and that has lead many people turning to video conference calls as a replacement for face-to-face conversations.

However, as most of us wouldn't have typically conducted the majority of our meetings via video calls in the past, we're all liable to make errors as we get to grips with the technology.

For instance, one priest inadvertently turned on face filters while conducting a live-stream mass online.

Take a look at the unfortunate moment:

And now, one employee has reduced Twitter to hysterics after they posted a screenshot of their boss, who accidentally turned herself into a potato during a video call meeting.

The employee wrote;

"my boss turned herself into a potato on our Microsoft teams meeting and can’t figure out how to turn the setting off, so she was just stuck like this the entire meeting"

And in a brilliant plot twist, another Twitter user replied to identify herself as the boss in question, writing a wonderfully pun-laden message;

"I yam potato boss. You should see me in a crown, right @billieeilish? I yam glad this is making folks laugh at this time. Please stay planted at home and safe! For more needed laughs, follow my favorite comedian @cristela9 Potate out. #HASHtag #PotatoBoss"

Twitter users were quick to thank the pair for sharing the hilarious moment. One wrote, "Your potato face made me laugh in a way I haven’t laughed in what feels like a very long time. Thank you!"

Another wrote, "You made a delightful looking tater. Frankly I’m scared of Teams conferencing tools. I’m just barely used to the channels function."

It just goes to show, this is a brave new world for all at the moment, and anyone one of us could be the next hapless person to inadvertently turn themselves into a potato.
