An adult film star with dwarfism faces between two and 15 years in prison after she stabbed her boyfriend with a butter knife, the Daily Mail has reported.

Cheryl Murphy, aka Bridget the Midget, attacked her partner Jesse James after discovering that he had been having an affair with another woman. The erotic actress stabbed James in the leg while he slept in his mistress' home, before trying to attack his lover, who has not been identified.

Witnesses saw Murphy screaming in the street and throwing a barbecue grill at the windows of the Vegas apartment. They heard her shouting: "I have nothing more to lose, Jesse. You took it all from me ... There’s blood everywhere, please call the cops."

KTNV reports that Murphy told the startled witnesses: "It's my fault, I did it all. I should go to jail," and that when asked if she lived at the residence Murphy responded that she did. However, another woman yelled: "No, she does not, she's trying to stab my boyfriend to death, please call the cops."

James and Murphy had been dating for two years, but it is unknown when his infidelity began. On September 30, Murphy changed her status to 'in a complicated relationship' on Facebook and also commented that she lived a block away from James.

Police authorities quickly arrived on the scene, and subdued Murphy and took her into custody at approximately 2:30 am on September 18. She was later charged with burglary while in possession of a deadly weapon, battery with use of a deadly weapon and assault with a deadly weapon. Meanwhile, James was taken to a nearby hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. He has since been released.

Murphy's preliminary hearing was scheduled for November 7, and she could be facing serious jail time as a result of her violent behavior.
