A T-Shirt for children which says: 'Daddy's Little Slut' has been recalled from Amazon, after many shoppers were left outraged by the slogan.

Social media users first became aware of the offensive shirt on Thursday, after a Twitter user going by the handle @yashar uploaded a screenshot of the product and its item listing on the online store.

They captioned the image: "Available for sale on @amazon 'Daddy’s Little S*ut' t-shirt...for children Posting here in hopes it’ll expedite removal from Amazon. [sic]"

The tweet in question quickly managed to accrue over 500 likes and hundreds of comments from disgusted Twitter-users, who agreed heartily that the top was grossly inappropriate for kids. Some commenters demanded that the top be removed from the site, while others reported the item to the retailer.

The shirt, which was sold by a vendor named: 'OnlyBabyCare' has allegedly been available to buy from the online shopping outlet since June of 2019.

Costing $18, TMZ reports that the product's item description stated that it was unisex and suitable for: "playing outside, birthday party, baby shower, baptism, wedding, baby photography, daily wear, family day."

OnlyBabyCare also sells a number of other incongruously-sloganed clothes for children, including one which reads “Boats and Hoes” and a hat emblazoned with the words “Black Guns Matter,” with an automatic rifle across the top.

Commenting on the controversy, an Amazon spokesperson allegedly told the New York Post that: "All sellers must follow our selling guidelines and those who do not will be subject to action including potential removal of their account. The product in question is no longer available."

They declined to comment on whether the other products sold by OnlyBabyCare will still available in the future.
