Ever since he announced his campaign for the US presidency, Donald Trump's notoriety skyrocketed from that of "questionable businessman" to "maybe the dumbest guy to ever hold office", and now the whole world knows about his dodgy hairstyle and astounding incompetence.

So iconic is his look, in fact, that many people now make a living off of impersonating him. It's not that hard to do either - all you really need is a bad toupe, an unnecessarily long tie, and an ability to speak with pursed lips.

Still, no matter how good the impersonators are, there's only one Donald Trump... or is there?

Earlier this year, pictures emerged of Dolores Leis Antelo - a Spanish potato farmer who looks suspiciously like the former The Apprentice host.

With her platinum blonde hair and slightly scowled expression, Antelo is the spitting image of the president.

She was discovered quite by accident, by journalist Paula Vázquez who was visiting the rural area in Cabana de Bergantiños in order to interview her for a completely different matter.

"Dolores was going to her farm to pick some cabbages," Vasquez told the Spanish-language publication Faro de Vigo. "So I talked with her for a while, while a girlfriend was taking pictures of her, and I took the opportunity to take another photo with my cellphone."

When she shared the above picture of her, however, nobody cared about anything other than her resemblance to the president.

Twitter users were shocked by the uncanny match, and had plenty to say about Antelo's distinctive image.

"She has better hair and she's better dressed. Just sayin'," joked one person.

"Frankly, i'd rather have this woman be President - at least she clearly knows how to put in an honorable day's work," said another.

"She comes from a meaningful profession, she can take a joke, and she knows how to tame her hair," commented a third. "Quite different from Trump."

And it seems that Antelo herself took the comparison in good jest.

"My photo seems to have traveled far. I say it is because of the colour of my hair," she reportedly said once she learned about the reaction to her photos.

Antelo does not actually have a computer or a phone, however, so she has no idea that her pictures are still doing the rounds on social media all these months later! Thankfully for her, that also means she's been spared from all of her lookalike's awfully-spelled tweets, so she's probably winning overall.

Since the article was originally published back in April, the farmer says that she now gets called "Donald Trump's cousin", and says that she is "charmed" by the comparison.

As for what the president has to say about the comparison... well, we can't be sure. However, given how wonderful he thinks he is, he probably thinks that she's the most beautiful creature he's ever seen. Or the second most, I guess.
