The internet is convinced that nerds make the perfect husbands after a woman revealed all of their "green flags."

Isabel Brown, better known by her TikTok handle @theisabelbrown, took to the video-sharing platform to urge those looking for Mr. Right to look towards "nerds" as they often possess the qualities that make them good husbands and fathers.

Stitching a video of another user asking "Where do y'all be finding these men that are obsessed with you, good fathers, can take care of you, spoil you?", Isabel said: "They're nerds. You go for the nerd."

She then went on to elaborate on her answer, but first, she set the scene using a trope we're all too familiar with.

"Let's break the trope that all English movies have, the nerdy girl that grows up and has a glow-up," she told her followers. "The unsuspecting girl, her nose always in her book. Loves her fantasies and series and then becomes super hot and amazing. They don't say that for men."

Isabel then went on to list the "green flags" she's come to recognize so that others might also be able to use them as a checklist when looking for a nerd who's husband material.

"I want you to hear me loud and clear, so listen up," she said. "If he owns a lightsaber, green flag. If he has purchased a wand from the Wizarding World of Harry Potter, the greenest possible flag."

She also went on to add: "If he has an unhealthy obsession with Ahsoka Tano, you better run to the altar. Bonus points if he's a lover of Monopoly."

Who doesn't love a good game of Monopoly though?

"Those little underestimated nerd boys grow up to be men who see what's in here," she continued, pointing to her heart before going on to suggest that the nerdy guys are more likely to be sensitive and empathetic.

Hundreds of others took to the comments to agree, with some even offering advice of their own to support Isabel's theory.

"Henry Cavill for example," commented one user, to which a lot of others seemed to agree.

The 40-year-old actor is notoriously known for being into Warhammer as well as gaming - classic nerd stuff.

"Important point though, you have to let them stay a nerd. No making them give up the nerdy stuff," a second added, while a third told the girlies to look in their "friend zone" because that's where most nerds end up.

Others even went as far as testing the theory and let's just say, it worked.

"Married my nerdy engineer high school boyfriend... we built legos on a date. No lie," this user recalled.

"Mine has a Lord of the Rings sword and I knew he was the one after that," another also wrote.

So, ladies and gents, you've heard it here: If you're single and are looking for a man that's bound to impress, keep Isabel's advice in mind!
