A British-Nigerian influencer died after undergoing a penis enlargement treatment during a luxury vacation in Thailand with his wife.
Igho "Tiny" Ubiribo, who was also known as Denisi or Ego on social media, underwent the procedure during a trip to Bangkok in March.
The 43-year-old, who documented his extravagant lifestyle, had 40 milliliters of hyaluronic acid and lidocaine injected into his penis at an unnamed Thai clinic, according to an inquest at Inner West London Coroners’ Court, per TMZ.
But shortly afterward, the trip took a devastating turn.
Ubiribo was staying at a Marriott hotel in Bangkok with his wife, fashion designer and socialite Danielle Simba Allen.
Following the procedure, the couple went for a massage, where Ubiribo began complaining of chest pain before passing out twice.
He was rushed by ambulance to Sukhumvit Hospital and was initially conscious and able to answer doctors' questions.
Allen informed medical staff about the filler injections her husband had received, but Ubiribo lost consciousness before doctors could perform a recommended CT scan.
Medics determined that he had suffered a pulmonary embolism, a blockage in a blood vessel in the lungs, and transferred him to intensive care.
Doctors performed CPR for more than 100 minutes in an attempt to save him, but Ubiribo died in the early hours of March 6.
A postmortem examination carried out in the UK subsequently found cellular material in Ubiribo's lungs that matched the hyaluronic acid used during the procedure.
Coroner Jean Harkin ruled that his death was caused by a pulmonary embolism resulting from the cosmetic treatment.
Hyaluronic acid penis fillers can cost as much as $9,000 and typically last between six and nine months.
The procedure can be used to increase the length or girth of the penis, but potential side effects include loss of sensation, erectile dysfunction, infection, and inflammation, according to the Cleveland Clinic.
Another possible complication is "having a bend or kink in the new penis shape due to scarring," per Cleveland Clinic.
Ubiribo owned a $1.1 million home in Los Angeles' Crenshaw neighborhood as well as a $600,000 apartment in London.
He married Danielle in a $473,000 ceremony in Zimbabwe in 2022.
In June 2025, he expressed his love for his wife on Instagram: "I appreciate you more than words can say - this is forever, and I’m all in. I love you deeply."
In another tribute shared in 2024, he said: "Life has been nothing but complete with you by my side, I can’t thank God enough for the day we met. Your kindness, compassion, and steadfast support have illuminated my path. You have been my anchor through life’s highs and lows, and I am eternally grateful for your presence by my side."
Allen had similarly celebrated their relationship following a 30-day trip abroad in 2025 spanning three continents, four countries and 10 cities.
"To My Husband You Went Above & Beyond Thank You For Such A Memorable Summer," she wrote.
Alongside footage of the couple taking a helicopter ride, she added: "Some couples take romantic walks…But you my husband have always kept my feet above the ground.
"We’ve flown over oceans, taken in breathtaking views but you my King remain my forever view. A view I can’t wait to wake up to every morning. Because your smile… your 'How did you sleep, baby?'… keeps me on a forever high."
Ubiribo was laid to rest in London in May in a gold coffin reportedly costing more than $745,000.
Among the mourners were Nigerian superstar Davido and his friend, Celebrity Barman Cubana Chief Priest, who shared footage from the funeral and paid tribute to Ubiribo on Instagram.
"Rest Easy Brother @ego2222," he wrote. "Even In Death, The Lifestyle Was Kept For You. Today London Stood Still For You Tiny, We Love You, We Celebrate You & We Will Never Forget You Brother, We Lived Bro, Good Memories."
