This morning, the John Hopkins University Coronavirus Resource Center has confirmed that over 1 million people around the world have recovered from the novel coronavirus.

As of this writing, the number of individuals who have beaten the deadly disease globally now stands at 1,015,183.

Thankfully, we are seeing more and more videos like this every day:

Per BBC News, yesterday, UK prime minister Boris Johnson - who has recovered from the coronavirus himself - announced that the nation was "past the peak" of the virus outbreak and that "we can now see the sunlight". However, Johnson stressed that the country must not "risk a second spike".

In the US, during yeserday's coronavirus briefing at the White House, President Trump suggested that he has seen evidence the novel coronavirus originated in a Chinese laboratory.

The POTUS was asked by a reporter: "Have you seen anything at this point that gives you a high degree of confidence that the Wuhan Institute of Virology was the origin of this virus?"

"Yes, I have. Yes, I have," said the president, without specifying. "And I think the World Health Organization [WHO] should be ashamed of themselves because they're like the public relations agency for China."

The battle against the novel coronavirus is far from over.

At this time, there have been 3,259,167 total confirmed cases of the disease around the world - a million of those cases are in the US.

In addition, 233,439 people have lost their lives as a result of the disease, with the highest death tolls seen in the US (63,746), Italy (27,967), the United Kingdom (26,771), Spain (24,543), and France (24,376).

We are urging all of our readers to adhere to the advice from their respective governments and medical bodies, and practice social distancing and self-isolation where required. Together, we will beat this.
