Here’s the truth behind the unidentified creature stalking the US-Mexico border, which a UFO expert has suggested may be from another dimension.
Jaime Maussan has claimed that a mysterious alien-like being that has supposedly killed several chickens was spotted in the Valley of Juárez, a town and municipality in Jalisco in central-western Mexico.
According to the Daily Mail, the investigator suspects the creature may not be extraterrestrial, but some form of intelligence crossing over from another dimension that shares the same space in the universe as Earth.
"It's a predator. I'm not saying it's extraterrestrial, but it is something scary," he told Juárez news outlet NetNoticias.Mx. "It has agility. It has intelligence. It walks on two feet. It appears human. It has a head like a human."
Experts revealed the creature's alleged size
Maussan, who has reported on UFOs for more than three decades, hosts the Mexican TV show "Tercer Milenio" (Third Millennium) about UFOS and other paranormal topics. He also has a YouTube channel that has garnered over a million subscribers.
Four research assistants working with the expert revealed during a press conference that they have figured out the estimated size of the creature after allegedly seeing it climb over a large brick wall.
They compared it to the large bricks in the wall and said it was approximately six feet in length, from its head to the tip of its tail, which they believe is around three feet long.
Surveillance cameras never caught it walking upright on its back legs, which Maussan suggested it could do.
Information about where the sightings specifically occurred and who the witnesses are has not been revealed.
"Why did it appear there? It's a mystery. Are they interdimensional beings? Are they beings who came with other beings? Did they come in ships?" Maussan said.
The paranormal investigator claimed he began looking into the mysterious creature after an unnamed young boy saw it grab a chicken by the head before disappearing up a tree.
He compared it to the "El Ser de Metepec" (The Being of Metepec or the Metepec Creature), an urban legend involving a small, alien-like creature captured by a Mexican farmer in a rat trap in Metepec, near Mexico City in 2007.
"What can I tell you, it's very similar to 'El Ser de Metepec,' only that one was an infant. This is an adult being," he said.
However, despite the bizarre claims, local authorities have reported no evidence of unusual activity in the area.
Juárez Civil Protection director Sergio Rodriguez told Telediario Juárez that his department has not received any reports of anything out of the ordinary.
Despite the lack of official reports, Maussan appears determined to get to the bottom of the mystery as he was last seen investigating at Tepeyac Cemetery in Juárez last Monday.
"This story will go around the world. Not just Mexico but the entire world," he told reporters during his investigation.
