A South African business owner and wildlife trophy hunter has reportedly been found dead after being shot "in cold blood".
As reported by The New York Post, 55-year-old Riaan Naude was the owner of Pro Hunt Africa - a business that specialized in hunting tours of some of the country's most magnificent animals.
Naude would frequently take to Facebook to share images of him and his clients posing next to the carcasses of animals like lions, giraffes, and zebras.
However, South African Police Service spokesperson Lieutenant Colonel Mamphaswa Seabi has told local outlet Maroela Media that Naude's body was found covered in blood next to his car in the Limpopo province.
"The man was lying with his face up and there was blood on his head and face," Lt. Col. Seabi revealed, adding: "Police found two hunting rifles, ammunition, clothes, water, whiskey, and pyjamas in the deceased's [vehicle]. It looks like he was on his way to go hunting."
Lt. Col. Seabi said there is no clear motive for the murder at this time.

Per Metro, the anti-rhino poaching Heritage Protection Group revealed that authorities are currently searching for two suspects in connection with the fatal attack.
"According to eyewitnesses, a white bakkie [truck] stopped next to him and shot him in cold blood at a short distance, after which the two suspects got out and only stole his pistol," The Heritage Protection Group said.
The HPG added: "They then jumped into the vehicle and raced in the direction of Marken. Traces were trampled on the scene. All the personal belongings were still in the vehicle, weapons, ammunition, hunting equipment, and clothes were left as is."
Metro adds that local reports state that a nearby cattle herder heard a gunshot and then witnessed a white Nissan truck fleeing the scene.
Following Naude's death, many social media users have taken to the Pro Hunt Africa company's Facebook page to comment on the situation.
Perhaps unsurprisingly, many social media users left comments about how Naude's death was the result of "karma":

Continuing to taunt Naude's death, one person commented that the "world is a better place" and another Facebook user went as far as to say that the trophy hunter "got what he deserved".
According to The Post, Pro Hunt Africa charges clients $350 per day to hunt game, $2,500 for a crocodile, and $1,500 for a giraffe.
