It's fair to say that Nike is one of the most recognizable brands in the world. Seriously, all it takes is a glance at that big white tick to know exactly what kind of sneakers you're wearing.

In fact, the brand is so well-known that even the boxes that the trainers come in are more or less iconic by now, and so it was only a matter of time before Nike capitalized on that too. Yup. the sports shoe company has recently unveiled a brand-new bag that looks exactly like one of their signature shoeboxes.

According to a recent report by Hypebeast, the bag is made out of  100 per cent polyester, and comes in bright orange, with a prominent white Nike swoosh-and-wordmark hit on the top, plus some smaller graphics on the side.

The product's item description on Nike's official online store states: "Keep your sneaks pristine as you transport them in style with the Nike Shoebox Bag. It features a classic shoebox silhouette with a full-zip closure for easy access and an eyelet for ventilation."

Not only that but if you look closely you can see that there's a detail on the lower side which replicates the same text found on the bottom of Nike shoeboxes: including the logos and even the address of the Swoosh’s European headquarters.

So what's the advantage of having a bag that looks like a shoebox? Well, I might have to get back to you on the practical benefits of it. However, there's no doubt that it would make a handy and stylish container for toiletries, or maybe as a way of transporting your sneakers to a court or the gym.
