There are moments in life where you're so astonished by your own stupidity that you question if you really should be entitled to help further along the human species. Like when you march around the house forcing your flatmates to call your lost phone, only to realise it was in your back pocket all along. Or the ole glasses-on-top-of-the-head or camera-was-on-selfie-mode-all-along nuggets of stupidity. Sometimes you just
don't deserve to treat yo' self.
But often you can't help it. You just get that bit of brain-fuzz and sit and stare at a word like "PISTOL" for a really long time trying to think about if it actually is spelled like that (it is). It's probably because you're tired, unable to focus or just distracted by one thing or another.
So here's something to test you. It's a photo of a group of friends posing together for whatever reason on some kind of pedestrianised street. Except, there's something not quite right. Can you see it?
Take a long, hard look at the image and get back to me.
Did you get it? Make sure you scour every inch of the picture with your most eagle-y of eyes.
If you still haven't seen it, it's probably because you're distracted by something in the foreground. So take the hint, and make sure you look a little higher, up past the ladies – it's something in the background.
Something near the guys, something about one of the guys' faces... or... wait a minute! There
is only one guy's face. They're all identical!
Gotcha!
The photo went absolutely bananas on Imgur, and it's easy to see why. Once you see the photoshopped faces you can't unsee it. But boy you felt really stupid there for a second, didn't you?
Well, even if you did have one of those moments, at least you weren't as daft as the people who left a little piece of idiocy in the comments section. It's full of exactly the same unoriginal comments about the girl on the very left's body and stance. Some others speculated that it was "Their age?", or "That second girl isn't wearing any glasses", or better yet that it "Kinda looks like the one on the far right has a giant schlong".
Oh internet, I love you.
Now if you're actually feeling a bit bummed out after questioning your basic intelligence after not being able to spot the Photoshop, then why not try your hand at something else.
