FOMO is something that we are all guilty of experiencing. If you're not familiar with the abbreviation, FOMO simply stands for: fear of missing out. The anxiety you can feel when something interesting or exciting may be happening elsewhere is not a great sensation, and it is only aggravated by our culture's prolific use of
social media. If your plans aren't living up to your expectations and you see a friend's night out on Snapchat that looks amazing, it can easily put a damper on your night.
It especially hurts when you know the reason you didn't join in on the festivities is because of a choice you made, whether it was a dumb mistake or general laziness holding you back from attending. Usually, however, the parties you miss out on are not that significant in the grand scheme of things and you can make up for it by seeing that friend at a later date. It's a little different when the party you didn't go to was held by a star like
Margot Robbie.

An Australian Uber driver, Robert Bregnsdal, recently bumped into the
Wolf of Wall Street actress on one of his shifts, but he didn't quite grasp the situation until afterwards. He picked up a man and a woman, who turned out to be Robbie and her husband Tom Ackerley Carrara, taking them both to Mermaid Beach on the Gold Coast in Queensland. Under the Uber pseudonym of 'Sophia', she looked familiar, but he assumed she wasn't a Hollywood star due to the way she and her husband spoke to him.
The celebrity couple met on the set of a movie called Suite Française, a World War II Romance on which Tom was assistant director. In December 2016,
they married in a private ceremony in Byron Bay, but now live together in Los Angeles.

Speaking to the Gold Coast Bulletin, Robert said that both of them were so "down to earth, normal, friendly and chatty" that he thought she couldn't have been a celebrity. Even when he overheard locals (when the couple hopped out to buy some alcohol) talking about whether she was the actress or not, he wasn't certain. After some conversation, they asked him if he wanted to join them at the event they were attending.
"After [the drive] she invited me to come to the house party," he explained. "I said no ‘cause I was going to see Star Wars with the boys. And her husband kind of chuckled like 'Ha ha, you don’t realise who we are'."

He first posted about the incident on Facebook on December 26, where he wrote: "Swear to god i just ubered Margot Robbie.... that or she has a twin." He later added:"Update: can confirm it was her! And her bf/husband... probs one of the nicests ive met and very down to earth".
If there's any moral to this story, it's that not all celebrities are going to treat you different just because of how famous they are. And if Margot Robbie asks you if you want to come to a party, that's likely a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, so it might be best to take it.
