The mom-of-three has kept a low profile since announcing that she was receiving chemotherapy for an undisclosed form of cancer in March.

In an emotional televised statement at the time, the royal said: "This, of course, came as a huge shock, and William and I have been doing everything we can to process and manage this privately for the sake of our young family.

"As you can imagine, this has taken time. It has taken me time to recover from major surgery in order to start my treatment," she added.

After the announcement, Catherine stepped away from the public for three months and returned in June at the Trooping the Colour parade alongside the Prince and their three children.

She also made a surprise appearance at the Wimbledon tennis championships with her daughter, Princess Charlotte.
