An OnlyFans model who claims she got the Dublin to New York live portal temporarily shut down by flashing has revealed why she did it.

The portal had been set up offering a live feed between Dublin and New York, however, some people decided to push the boundaries with what they were broadcasting across the pond.

As well as the sweet interactions that it was intended to create, some people opted to flash up less savory images, such as pictures of the 9/11 terrorist attacks.

OnlyFans model Ava Louise also took things a step too far after she chose to flash her breasts at unsuspecting passers-by from the New York side of the portal on May 12 - and now she's explained why.

She explained: "I thought the people of Dublin deserved to see two New York, homegrown potatoes."

It's a niche - and somewhat bizarre - reason, but go off...

Of course, she shared a video that captured the moment she bared her breasts in front of the portal, which she claims resulted in the organizers temporarily pulling the plug, per the New York Post.

In subsequent footage, Louise's boyfriend was seen engaging with security personnel, who announced that the portal would be "down for quite some time" in response to the incident.

A staff member said: "It's very unfortunate that people are not acting in the best way."

People in her comments were less than impressed with her stunt as one wrote: "Why you gotta ruin it for everyone?"

Another added: "Yeah this one is ehhh… you’re probably gonna get charged with some sort of indecent exposure or something lol… especially since there were probably children around…"

The portal is the brainchild of Lithuanian artist Benediktas Gyly, who wanted to create a "united world" through it.

And, on the whole, the interactions have been largely positive, including sweet moments such as a marriage proposal.

The Portals Organization shared a statement, as cited by Sky News, reading: "We have seen families and friends unite, dancing moves being shared as well as new friendships being made. There was even a successful marriage proposal.

"The Portal offers a window to other cities and is connecting people and cultures in a unique manner - what we are seeing between Dublin and NY is reflective of a wider narrative of cultural behavior."

They continued: "We do not intend to suggest people to interact with Portals in any particular way - our goal is to open a window between far away places and cultures that allows people to interact freely with one another.

"We encourage people to be respectful and from our position as observers, we see that the absolute majority of experiences is on the bright side."
