Over the past few months, three members of the Kardashian/Jenner family have proven themselves to be experts when it comes to hiding the most personal details of their family situations - which is surprising, considering they essentially founded an empire on just living their lives in front of the cameras.
First, it was revealed that Kim was expecting her third child via surrogate, then Khloe confirmed she had a bun in the oven, and then Kylie came out and admitted that she had been pregnant all along, and had given birth to a baby girl. Needless to say, it was a rollercoaster of a time for KUWTK fans.
Now, as the final big reveal in a trilogy of baby announcements, Khloe has let everyone know that she's expecting a little girl, and she couldn't be more excited.
The news was first broken on Keeping Up With The Kardashians, but then continued on Twitter later on.
After the episode aired, Khloe tweeted that she was keen to talk about the news further, but didn't want to spoil it for anyone who hadn't seen the reveal yet: "I want to tweet my commentary but I don’t want to ruin the episode for anybody else who hasn’t seen it yet LOL."
However, her big sister Kim wasn't so restrained, and gave away the baby's gender just a short while later - so Khloe went ahead and shared her happiness anyway. "I am now so excited my daughter will have forever best friends with Chicago and Stormi!! God is great!!! Thank you Lord for our princess," she said.
Since she was being so vocal, fans took the opportunity to ask her some questions.
"Do you have a name picked out for your sweet baby girl yet?" asked one Twitter user.
"NO!!! It’s so hard!!!" Khloe replied. "Lol I knew the name if I was having a boy. So now I really have to figure this out."
For a while, the media had reported that Khloe was expecting a boy too, leaving Kim to joke that the family had been laughing about it in private. "I love it when the media gets it wrong & our family group chats were so funny seeing all of the boy reports," she said.
Fans were also keen to know whether she'd carry on Kris' tradition of giving her child the first initial 'K', or whether she'd go a different route as Kim and Kylie have. All she would say was that she's leaning towards 'T' as a first initial, but "K is an option as well."
Khloe has clearly been buzzing to be a mom for a while now, with her initial Instagram post conveying all kinds of emotion. "My greatest dream realized! We are having a baby! I had been waiting and wondering but God had a plan all along," she said.
She later revealed that she hadn't had the easiest time with the pregnancy, and there was an increased chance that she might have lost the baby during the earlier days. "There's a lot of complications, a lot of things could happen, and I could have had the potential to miscarry," she explained.
Thankfully, she seems to be perfectly healthy at the moment, and we can expect to meet the newest Kardashian in the next month or so.
