Anyone who has seen Netflix's excellent teen romantic comedy To All The Boys I've Loved Before would most likely be dismayed at the idea of Lara Jean and Peter not being together and very much in love.

Unfortunately for fans, real life is somewhat different to the movies, and both Lana Condor and Noah Centineo have made it very clear that they are not dating in real life.

While this might come as something of a hammer blow to fand of the movie, you'll be pleased to know that Condor is in a relationship with someone; fellow actor Antony De La Torre, who has the ringing endorsement of being "an amazing guy" from none other than Condor's on-screen beau Noah Centineo.

But the story doesn't end there. As all romantic comedy fans worth their salt will know, no love story is a simple case of boy meets girl and they live happily ever after.

Indeed, when Lana and Noah first met, the former revealed that she definitely "felt something";

"We had just got back from a hot yoga class, and we went to his apartment and we ordered pizza — it was right before we shot the movie, and we were just getting to know each other.

"And I felt something."

But Lana knew she needed to remain professional; after all, they had an entire movie to shoot together. The solution?

"We kind of did what we did in To All The Boys, the movie.

"We made a contract and set boundaries. I'm so happy that we did that, because the movie turned out great, and now we're doing a sequel."

I mean, that contract didn't work out so well in the movie... If I remember correctly, in fact, Lara Jean and Peter ended up very much together. However, it clearly worked out in real life, because To All The Boys I've Loved Before is a stellar movie and fans are being treated to a sequel.

Speaking about the sequel, Condor recently said;

"I was asleep in a tent next to hippos!”

“My phone did blow up when I got service, which was a week later."

On what she hopes for from the sequel, the actress added;

 “I’ve told them that I want it to be even better than the first.

“I want her to find her voice a little bit more... she’s so awkward!”

Whatever happens in the sequel, fans will be hoping that Lara Jean and Peter Kavinksy go the distance on screen, even if in real life they're just firm friends.
