As kind, intelligent and talented Rihanna is, she's never been mistaken for a particularly subtle woman.

Nope, RiRi doesn't mess around - a point that was reiterated when the We Found Love songstress recently sent Charlize Theron an absolutely savage gift.

The Long Shot actress had everyone in hysterics when she appeared on Late Night with Seth Meyers to share the story of the hardest trolling we've heard in a while, all courtesy of Rihanna.

It all goes back to the fact that the pair share the same publicist - something that can get more competitive than you might think.

Charlize set the scene for the tale by saying: "It's tough. You want your publicist to like you, you want to think your publicist thinks you're worth putting out there in the world and that has to come from a very authentic place. It's hard when your other client is somebody like Rihanna."

The 43-year-old then confessed that her "coolness level" would never reach Rihanna status, but nonetheless, said she always thought her publicist "really loved me".

She was in for a shock though when she and Rihanna received two very different birthday messages from their publicist Amanda.

"And then, so for my birthday, she [Amanda] always sends me a little text," she said. "She just said like 'Happiest birthday,' she didn't even write birthday she just wrote 'b-day.'"

She continued: "A couple of months ago I got something in the mail, I came home, and it was a t-shirt, and Rihanna had made a t-shirt of the birthday greeting that my publicist gave her, which literally was like 'To my favorite, most favorite client ever'.

"And Rihanna wrote in the following e-mail, 'I'm making a t-shirt of this and sending it to Charlize' and I don't think my publicist Amanda ever thought that was gonna happen."

In true RiRi style, it did happen. Charlize then showed the t-shirt to the studio audience, deadpanning: "Made me feel great." Take A Bow, Rihanna - you really are Queen of the Savages!

We love you too, Charlize.
