Mere hours after her Super Bowl Halftime show, a representative for Rihanna confirmed that the singer is expecting her second child.

The 34-year-old had taken center stage in Glendale, Arizona, to perform a medley of her greatest hits including 'Work', 'Rude Boy', and 'Diamonds' - opening the show with her iconic 'B***h Better Have My Money'.

Sporting a PVC bustier and bright red jumpsuit unzipped to below her navel, Rihanna's small baby bump was hard to miss - especially as she was seen cradling and caressing her tummy at several points during her performance.

While her pregnancy was initially all speculation - thanks to eagle-eyed Twitter fans - her rep has now confirmed that she is pregnant, marking baby number two for the Barbadian singer.

The 'Umbrella' singer is already mom to a nine-month-old baby boy with her boyfriend, fellow musician A$AP Rocky. The pair welcomed him in May 2022, after first announcing they'd be parents on January 31 of the same year.

Prior to taking on the job of performing at halftime, Rihanna told The Hollywood Reporter that she wasn't sure if she was ready, especially given that she'd been offered the gig just three months after giving birth to her first child. "I was like, 'You sure? I'm three months postpartum. Should I be making major decisions like this right now? I might regret this,'" she told the outlet.

"When you become a mom, there's something that just happens where you feel like you could take on the world - you can do anything," she added. "And the Super Bowl is one of the biggest stages in the world, so as scary as that was … there's something exhilarating about the challenge of it all. It's important for my son to see that."

One of the more difficult aspects of her performance was figuring out how to incorporate her hits over the past 18 years into just 13 short minutes.

"The setlist was the biggest challenge," the Grammy-winner revealed. "That was the hardest part - deciding how to maximize 13 minutes, but also celebrate. That's what the show's going to be - it's going to be a celebration of my catalog in the best way."

Though, the mom-to-be seemed to be content with the tracks she chose to perform, adding: "I think we did a pretty good job at narrowing it down."
