It hasn't been long since we saw him appear in Avengers: Endgame this year, but Tom Holland is suiting up again to play everyone's favourite wall-crawler. Spider-Man: Far From Home is hitting cinemas in July, with Jake Gyllenhaal in tow to play the strange new addition of Mysterio.

So we've been seeing a lot of him on the press circuit, where he's proving again and again why he got cast as Peter Parker - with his charming awkwardness making it into every interview.

He also recently appeared on the new Netflix series The Chef Show, which is hosted by Jon Favreau and gourmet chef Roy Choi.

Favreau is best known for directing the first two Iron Man movies, and has also acted alongside Holland in Spider-Man: Homecoming. On a recent episode of the series he brought Holland, Robert Downey Jr., and Avengers: Endgame directors Joe and Anthony Russo on for a meal.

During their conversation, the British actor opened up about the very first time he met Downey Jr. as part of the audition process. Holland had to take part in a screen test alongside the Iron Man actor before he was cast to appear in Captain America: Civil War, which was undoubtedly a nerve-wracking experience.

And, the awkward guy that he is, he immediately put his foot in his mouth by confusing his co-star with his stunt double. "I remember meeting your double first and being like, 'wow you look kind of different in real life!'" Holland revealed as Downey Jr. sat across from him at the table.

Holland also went on to speak about his own stunt work, and how he insisted on doing some of his own stunts when he joined the cinematic universe. "It says, 'Spider-Man flips into frame' and does the first line," he recalled. "And I asked [Anthony Russo], 'should I do a flip?' And you guys were like, 'nah… can you?' And I'm like, 'yeah'."

And they weren't the only Marvel additions to the show recently. One clip with Gwyneth Paltrow - who plays Pepper Potts in various MCU movies - recently went viral after she genuinely forgot she had starred in Spider-Man: Homecoming.

To be fair to her, she only appears for a few lines at the end of the movie, and doesn't actually have any interaction with Tom Holland. But still, it's pretty damn funny to see her completely forget she'd appeared in the film entirely.

Honestly, there have been so many MCU movies at this point it can be a little hard to keep track of - especially when you're dropping in for a quick cameo. One thing is for sure: Paltrow isn't exactly watching these movies on a loop like many of us do...
