With so many of us working from home, it is safe to say that our new co-workers can be a little more distracting than our usual colleagues. Of course, by "co-workers", I mean our kids, partners, and pets.
I can not tell you how many times I've been on a video call discussing the usual numbers and figures, only to be interrupted by the cat jumping on my lap, shortly followed by my wife asking if the bathroom is still out of bounds.
However, a weather reporter in Florida was left rather red-faced when his hungry pet golden retriever (who is absolutely adorable) interrupted his live at-home broadcast. This really is the kind of TV we all need to see right now.
Check out the hilarious moment in the video below:As FOX WTVT’s meteorologist Paul Dellegatto was broadcasting the segment from his home in Tampa Bay, his pet pooch - named Brody - jumps up at his human in an attempt to beg for snacks.
Per OrlandoWeekly.com, Brody apparently knocked over Dellegatto's computer, which subsequently disabled the on-screen weather graphics. "The map’s not gonna move because he just whacked the computer with his head, so let me just verbalize the forecast OK?" Dellegatto says in the clip, trying his best to continue.
"That wasn’t very smart," the pet owner says, wagging his finger at the lovable pooch.
But Dellegatto then appears to admit defeat to the dog, and allows the large golden retriever to sit on his lap for the remainder of the segment. It really is as pure as it sounds.
Doing his best to finish the broadcast, Dellegatto starts to talk about "clouds overnight tonight", which causes Brody to let out a big rude yawn.
The furry saboteur then jumps down and disappears off camera... only to jump up at the cameraman in the window, causing Dellegatto to groan: "Oh boy. That’s not good..."
I won't lie, this was the best piece of news I've seen all 2020.
