Training an animal to do pretty much anything is an incredibly taxing task which requires plenty of work for things to pay off.

With lots of treats, love and patience, you can teach a dog to roll over or convince your cat to stop urinating on everything you own. But even then, you've got a 75-percent success rate at best, and potentially a lot of extra avoidable laundry to do.

But this little girl and her bird have achieved a whole new level of animal bonding - a level I thought was only possible in overly optimistic children's films and/or the 2009 James Cameron film Avatar.

You've heard of an attack dog, but what about an attack bird? Whenever this little girl screams at a target, her feathered friend flies into the fight, attacking the offending party with a flurry of pecks and scratches.

Just look at this little guy go:

Understandably, the people of the internet are impressed - the only thing I can get my cat to do on demand is "continue to take a nap". That shriek, man. Here's the internet's verdict on the most adorable little attack bird:

I don't know about you guys, but I'm kind of terrified of this little girl. At this rate, by the time she's an adult, she'll have complete mastery of all birds, and nobody will be able to stop her from taking over the world with an army of raging swans.
