This week a baby goat from a farm in Wisconsin has gone viral on social media, after it was miraculously born with two heads.
According to a recent report by British tabloid newspaper The Daily Mail, the goat in question hails from the Nueske family farm near the town of Wittenberg. Farm owner Jocelyn Nueske was so amazed by the animal's strange appearance that she immediately took to Facebook to post some images of the kid.
Take a look at this video all about the kid:

She captioned the initial photos: "Had our first two headed baby boy today! He needed some help coming out after his brother that was perfectly normal. The mom is doing good, we brought him home to give him some extra attention and care ... hope he lives! [sic]"
She continued: "We have decided to name him Janus (jay-nes) after the Greek god of beginnings, transitions, time, duality, and endings ... he is starting to eat better and more. He’s getting restless and wants to get up and run around [sic]"

A later trip to the vet revealed that little Janus has two brains that are fused together at the back of his skulls, although his heart, lungs and limbs are all functioning properly.
Jocelyn has noticed that the animal appears to have some problems with motor coordination, but she is otherwise hopeful that he will survive into adulthood.

Per The Mail, Jocelyn stated: "I noticed that the mother was having troubles having her second baby, which was completely normal."
She added: "We have been milking goats for six years and never had anything like this. We usually have around 700 babies born each year and nothing like this has ever happened until now."
