Now, I don't know about you, but I don't understand anyone who doesn't love
Barack Obama. Sure, every political leader has made their fair share of questionable decisions, but
Barack Obama's stay in the White House was dignified and largely successful. Aside from being the first black President of the United States, Obama was committed to upholding the tenants of democracy, for American nationals and beyond - something that his
successor has regretfully called into question of late.
Now this is all well and good, but Barack Obama also has to be one the most beloved
US Presidents ever. In all his interactions with the press, he has always stood out as being a great husband and father to his two daughters, Sasha and Malia. And I think we can all agree that the Obamas just did the whole marriage thing
right. Barack took husband goals to the next level when he teared up thanking Michelle in his Presidential farewell address, and please don't get me started on the time he was pictured being a typical "Instagram Husband".
But this time, it appears that we're the ones who are tearing up. Barack Obama just shared a birthday message to Michelle on his Instagram account, and it's too cute to handle.

Barack Obama posted a photograph on his personal Instagram account yesterday to commemorate the birthday of his wife, Michelle Obama. The photo depicts the former President of the United States looking lovingly at Michelle, while she stares into the distance. And yes, while the picture is adorable, it's the caption that makes it.
"You're not only my wife and the mother of my children, you're my best friend. I love your strength, your grace, and your determination. And I love you more each day. Happy Birthday, @MichelleObama," Obama wrote.

This is not the first time that Obama has professed his love for Michelle publicly. Last year he presented Michelle with a special video for their 25th wedding anniversary. However, it didn't come at the most convenient of times. He interrupted the former First Lady's appearance at the Pennsylvania Conference for Women with the gesture. "I had to crash this party because today we've been married for 25 years," he apologised, before launching into a sweet tribute to his wife.
He wrote:
"Hey honey! Listen, I know you are with all these important, Pennsylvania women, and you're sharing the stage with our buddy, Shonda Rhimes, but I had to crash this party because today we have been married for 25 years.
"Now, the idea that you would even put up with me for a quarter of a century is a remarkable testament to what a saintly, wonderful, patient person you are.
"It was a lot easier for me to do it because the fact of the matter is that not only have you been an extraordinary partner, not only have you been a great friend, somebody who could always make me laugh, somebody who would always make sure that I was following what I thought was right, but you have also been an example to our daughters and to the entire country."

"Your strength, your grace, your determination, your honesty, the fact that you look so good doing all this, the way in which you've always taken responsibility for your own actions but also for looking out for the people around you is remarkable. And it's no wonder that as people got to know you the way that I got to know you, they fell in love.
"It is truly the best decision that I ever made to be persistent enough, asking you out on a date, that you finally gave in. And I hope you feel the same way.
"So, I don't want to interrupt the flow of what I'm sure is a fascinating discussion, but I figured that you wouldn't mind maybe me parachuting in just to say how much I love you and how much I appreciate you. And to all the women in the audience, thanks for your indulgence. Bye-bye."
I'm not crying, you're crying!
