When you see your favorite singer in concert, it's pretty exciting. They're so close you could reach out and touch them. Deep down, you might even have a fleeting thought about rushing the stage to meet your idol, hand them your demo and become best friends forever. Of course, you quickly dismiss this thought, because you're not a lunatic. But when the liquor is flowing, judgment is impaired, and you can understand why some drunk fans think crashing the stage is good idea.
Usually when fans rush the stage at a concert, they're immediately tackled by huge bodyguards, and that's the end of that. The burly guys drag
off stage, and the singer stands frozen in shock, with a deer-in-the-headlights look. However, there was a really unique stage-rushing incident at a Celine Dion concert, and the French-Canadian singer handled it perfectly. (That's right. Celine Dion. Apparently, her concerts are fricken lit.)

At one of Celine's concerts in Las Vegas, a drunk woman rushed the stage, and a fan captured the incident on video. Well, most of it. When the video begins, the lady is already on stage, and it's not clear how she got there. According to the video description, Celine "brought a woman on stage, not knowing the woman was drunk and had some issues: her son just had a bone marrow transplant and she wanted to tell everyone to be a donor." So, while
was definitely out of control, at least she had a good reason.

In the video, the drunk woman hugs Celine Dion, and then proceeds to hump her leg. (Like I said, Celine Dion concerts are fricken lit.) It's an awkward situation, and some singers might with disgust, or anger, and immediately call for security (and hand sanitizer). However, Celine responded with remarkable grace, compassion and good humor. In fact, when the humping starts, she even made a joke, adlibbing the opening words to the Barney song: "I love you, you love me." And whenever the bodyguards threaten to swarm in, she waves them away, saying "Get out! Get out! Get out!"
"You know what, we got something in common, we got babies that we love," says Celine, comforting the stage-rusher, who is clearly 'on one,' and dealing with some distressing medical issues. Instead of mocking the drunk woman, Celine offers sympathy, and seems genuinely concerned. Eventually, she succeeds in leading her off stage, asking "You promise me you'll be careful?" It's the perfect reaction. The next time I get too drunk, I want Celine Dion to take care of me.

With the drunk woman safely off site (or getting tasered by security guards in a dark room) Celine retakes the stage, and fakes a faint, poking fun at the strange situation. Then she reminds the everyone to be nice, because we're all human. "You know what, some people go through a lot," said the My Heart Will Go on singer. "And some people need to talk, and I want to say thank you to all of you, because for maybe five minutes we have given this lady a moment to talk."
However, Celine Dion might have handled this too well. This video might inspire more
to crash the stage and try to hump her leg. Hope she's prepared!
