Adele has reportedly reassured fans after revealing she collapsed backstage before one of her residency performances in Las Vegas.

The 35-year-old songstress recently returned to The Colosseum at Caesars Palace to continue her run of Weekends With Adele shows, which is planned to run until November.

The 'Hello' vocalist took a month-long break after suffering a health scare while performing. According to The Sun, Adele told concertgoers during a show in Sin City that she experienced a sciatica attack.

The Cleveland Clinic explained that the condition occurs when "irritation, inflammation, pinching or compression affects one or more nerves" that run down your lower back and into your legs.

The publication reported that the 'Rolling in the Deep' hitmaker told fans at her show that her crew members "picked my whole body up off the floor," after suffering from a flare-up at the weekend. She also shared that she was forced to take some time out and leave the stage, admitting: "I am going to sit down and rest my sciatica."

In addition to this, the 'Someone Like You' singer said that she had been "bragging" about recovering from the chronic back pain but "then God brought it back."

She also confessed: "I've got two more [songs], I've just got to get over to the other side of the stage. I have to waddle these days because I have really bad sciatica."

Adele first shared an insight into her life with the debilitating back condition back in 2021 during an interview with The Face. The musician said that she had back pain for "half of my life" and that it flares up due to stress or bad posture.

"Where I got my tummy strong, down at the bottom, which I never had before, my back don't play up as much. It means I can do more, I can run around with my kid a little bit more," she said.

Adele’s health scare revelation comes after a video circulated online of her praising fellow singer Miley Cyrus during a segment at her concert.

In the clip, the 'Easy on Me' singer praised the 30-year-old's new single, 'Used To Be Young', telling the audience at her Las Vegas residency: "I am obsessed with Miley Cyrus's new song," and stating that she is "such a legend".

The American singer - who rose to fame in the role of Hannah Montana on the popular Disney Channel show of the same name - expressed her gratitude for Adele's words on the social media platform X (formerly Twitter), penning: "I thought of you often while writing this song - always hoped that you would love it."

She added: "This means the world to me. I love you. Mission accomplished."
