Amber Heard concluded her testimony on Thursday, saying that she had been left humiliated and scared for her life after multiple death threats from Johnny Depp's supporters.
After six weeks of testimonies from friends, colleagues, medical experts, and industry workers, the 36-year-old Aquaman actress was the final witness of the trial.
Depp is suing Heard for $50 million in Fairfax County Circuit Court, Virginia, over an op-ed she wrote that was published in the Washington Post in 2018 that refers to her as "a public figure representing domestic abuse".
Heard's article does not mention her 58-year-old ex-husband by name, but he argues that she accused him of domestic violence and ruined his career and reputation.
He has denied all accusations and said she was the violent one in their relationship. Heard is countersuing for $100 million.

Per Sky News, earlier on in her testimony, the Rum Diary star was asked about the impact the trial had on her and she said: "Even just coming into this courtroom, sitting here in front of the world having the worst parts of my life, things that I have lived through, used to humiliate me."
Heard was upset as she spoke about receiving death threats since proceedings began. "The harassment and the humiliation, the campaign against me that’s echoed every single day on social media, and now in front of cameras in the showroom, every single day I have to relive the trauma," she said.
She also revealed that people sent her death threats about her daughter. "People want to kill me, they tell me so… they want to put my baby in the microwave, and they tell me that," the actress added.
"I'm not sitting in this courtroom snickering, I'm not sitting in this courtroom laughing. I'm not smiling and making snide jokes. I'm not. This is horrible. This is painful and this is humiliating for any human being to go through.
"And perhaps it's easy to forget that - I am a human being. And even though Johnny promised that I deserve this and promised he'd do this, I don't deserve this. I want to move on," she declared.
Per HuffPost, Depp's lawyer Camille Vasquez said to the Pineapple Express actress during cross-examination that her "lies have been exposed to the world" and questioned her about the witnesses who contradicted her versions of events.
"I know how many people will come out of the woodwork to be in support of Johnny," Heard responded to Vasquez about Kate Moss' testimony. "He is a very powerful man and people love currying favor with powerful men and I know that firsthand, I've lived it."
Heard was then asked what she hopes to reclaim as the trial concludes and she told the courtroom: "Protecting the secret I did for as long as I did has taken enough of my voice. Johnny has taken enough of my voice. I have the right to tell my story… I hope to get my voice back."
Jurors will hear closing arguments today.
