Kanye West's behavior in recent weeks has consistently hit the headlines, prompting widespread concerns for his mental health.

Last month, the chart-topper took to Twitter to declare his intentions to run for president later this year, with his first presidential rally taking place two weeks later.

The rally took place in Charleston, South Carolina, and saw West breaking down in tears after revealing that his parents nearly aborted him. He told the crowd: "There would have been no Kanye West, because my dad was too busy."

In addition, he also told those in attendance: "I almost killed my daughter. I almost killed my daughter."

Then, on July 22, in a series of now-deleted tweets, Kanye revealed that he has been "trying to get a divorce" from Kim Kardashian for two years ever since she met with Meek Mill to discuss prison reform around November of 2018.

In the same tweet, he also referred to Kris Jenner as "Kris Jong-Un", writing: "They tried to fly in with 2 doctors to 51/50 me I been trying to get divorced since Kim met with Meek at the Warldolf for ‘prison reform’ I got 200 more to go This my lady tweet of the night … Kris Jong-Un Lil baby my favorite rapper but won’t do a song wit me [sic]."

He then went onto assert: "Meek is my man and was respectful That’s my dog Kim was out of line I’m worth 5 billion dollars and more than that through Christ But ya’ll ain’t listen to MJ and now ya’ll believe them??? [sic]"

"Kriss and Kim put out a statement without my approval … that’s not what a wife should do White supremacy [sic],” Kanye added.

Now, Caitlyn Jenner has weighed in on the situation, saying that she "wants the best" for the "good-hearted" West.

Jenner appeared on British TV show Good Morning Britain on Monday and was asked if West was receiving help after his worrying behavior.

Per the Metro, this came after Jenner said that she would put herself forward for the role of West's vice president should his bid for the presidency be successful.

Watch Jenner's interview on the show below:

Speaking to hosts Ben Shephard and Kate Garraway, Caitlyn said: "Since all of this has come down, I have just kind of watched it just like everybody else, so I haven't really had a chance. He's living up in Wyoming, most of the time, and so I just wish him the best."

"You know I made that as a joke at the time, about being his VP when he announced that. But, you know, I hope for the best for him.

"He's a really good guy. The only thing I really can talk about is really how he has treated me through everything. And he has been the most kind, loving human being."

Caitlyn continued: "And so good to me throughout the years, and especially going through everything I've been through in the last five years.

"He's been such a good friend, and that to me is by far the most important thing. As far as support."

Late last month, the 43-year-old rapper did take to social media to issue an apology to wife Kim, writing:

"I would like to apologize to my wife Kim for going public with something that was a private matter.

"I did not cover her like she has covered me.To Kim I want to say I know I hurt you. Please forgive me. Thank you for always being there for me."
